Prob the simplest explanation. Could have easily been avoided. Pilot error
For those wondering what happened, this is where things went tragically wrong. N722BD flew straight through a thunderstorm cell with tops above 45,000 feet. Turbulence, icing or both likely brought this plane to its tragic end.
I've flown around South Florida a lot, these thunderstorm cells are nothing to mess with. ATC gave clearance to deviate around the storms, why they went straight through the middle of this one is a mystery. Poor weather radar onboard or just a bad decision, may never know....RIP to those on board 🥺
I'm pretty sure the 2018 election was a gift from Russia. No doubt about it. Propaganda at that time was at its peak.
Anthropic spent months and exorbitant compute power and all they have to show for is some random junk that might do "something," without the faintest clue of its function. Literally even a grad student would be embarassed to present to their PI.
😂😂😂🤡
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

Do not underestimate the power of this technology. These will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources. We have all witnessed the progress in each of these domains, and progress is not slowing.
