Our team focused on bunt defense and knowing when it’s my responsibility as the first baseman to attack the ball versus when the third baseman or catcher should make the play. Worked on communication, and quick reactions. #classof2028 #ironsharpeniron

Things that will kill your team:
-Zero Standards
-Zero Leaders
-Zero Trust
And...
-Tons of Gossip
-Tons of Selfishness
-Tons of Blame

You’re accountable for the mistake.
You’re just as accountable for the response.
Be tough enough to correct yourself and compete again. Great competitors learn to respond before they feel better.
You don’t have to like what happened.
You have to be ready for what’s next.

The team played solid this weekend in OK at the Diamond Legacy Midwest Shootout. We had a couple close games that went into multiple extra innings. Pitching wasn’t my strongest, but I worked through it and handled up when my team needed me. Defensively I killed it at 1st base, my bat was hot and base running was on point.
