Dear @OpenAI . Maybe you should, you know... not train on sensitive discussions. That's kinda the whole point. They're sensitive and you shouldn't be looking at them. You're inevitably going to f-up your OpSec and leak info to N-Korea.
Business/Enterprise not affected, but screw the little guys doing legit cyber security work I guess.
Nice work NBX.
Visa CEO Ryan McInerney on tonight’s Visa earnings call:
“We will also soon be launching the world’s first stablecoin-linked Visa Flexible Credential with NBX in Europe.”

The Parameter Committee is running the first of its kind Public RFP (Request for Proposal) for Cardano Research!
...and YOU can apply, including setting your own price.
We are looking for a researcher (team) who can answer the question on HOW LOW we can go on the utxoCostPerByte (minUTXO) parameter under current and planned protocol rules.
Expected deliverables for the work:
- An assessment of the lowest technically and economically sustainable utxoCostPerByte value.
- Analysis of the risks, trade-offs, and limitations associated with reducing the parameter, including economic and/or security concerns where relevant.
- Analysis of the impact of not reducing the parameter.
- Evidence-based recommendations, including potential safeguards or mitigation measures.
Expected content of the application:
- Description of your research approach and methodology.
- Your experience.
- Your estimated time of completion.
- Fixed-price quotation in ada.
Apply here: tinyurl.com/utxoCPB-RFP
Deadline: 4th of November

Daedalus 11.5.0 is LIVE!
New features:
Diagnostics: a new Copy button copies the full diagnostic report to the clipboard as a formatted text block, ready to paste into a bug report.
Mithril: a partial sync no longer leaves gaps in the local blockchain. Previously the most recent local chunk could be kept incomplete, after which the node could reject blocks or stop at "Replaying ledger".
Wallet import from a Daedalus key file is now supported on the preprod and preview networks.
Linux: native system packages are now available for Debian (.deb), RPM-based (.rpm), Arch (.pkg.tar.zst), and NixOS distributions. The watchdog now acts as the OS-level entry point and manages the full process hierarchy.
Bug fixes:
Windows: on a computer whose name contains non-English characters, cardano-node could fail at startup or stop syncing with a broken pipe error. This has been fixed.
Dependency upgrades:
cardano-node bumped to 11.1.3
It is recommended that all Daedalus users upgrade to this version.
I've posted about this work before when it was just a CLI wallet. Give it another shot now that it's more normie friendly.
It's new, so start with just a small amount to play with.
Some fun news for #cardano
We've packaged Seedelf into a web wallet on the Chrome Web Store. Cardano now has a #privacy wallet. It's split into public and private sides, so you choose what you disclose.
Public side: send, stake, and vote, like any other Cardano wallet.
Private side: stealth addresses, private dApp interactions, and a built-in mixer.

It's entirely open source:

The reality is that it's an early project:
- Mainnet data comes from Koios's free public API, so the wallet can be slow at times. We plan to run our own data layer down the road to speed everything up.
- Privacy grows with the crowd. Few people use Seedelf and its mixer yet, so for now there's less to hide among.
- Start with small amounts and be safe!
New wallets do attract scammers, so to be clear:
- There is no Seedelf coin. No airdrop, no presale, no giveaway.
- A Seedelf is the name you mint to get paid privately, not an investment.
- We will never ask for your recovery phrase.
- Install only from the link above.
Feedback is the point of this release. Found a bug or something confusing? Reply here or open an issue:

Cardano unleashed a monster.
riverArk merchants accept Cash App and Bitcoin and get paid in dollars, instantly. No chargebacks.
Every counter we win is a front door for Cardano into real-world adoption - that's the strategy.
Unattended is live. Retail is next. It's time 🚀🚀🚀
It's taken almost a year since submission, but my open source contribution has been merged into @hashcat . For people with a really old version of Eternl and have forgotten their seed and password, this can help recover it. Usually helps to have a general idea of the password length and some known characters.

CNCLI v6.8.0 has been released. This version updates dependencies and fixes a CIP-0022 signing issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is a prerequisite for connecting dapps to Daedalus. The native packaging allows us to properly sandbox dapp's code without giving access to the internals of the wallet.
The more news I read, the more I'm ok if AI does in-fact take over. Maybe we deserve it and they can do a better job running Earth.

Custom Vending's OMNI Series machines now take bitcoin.
A customer selects bitcoin at checkout, scans the QR code with a Lightning wallet, and the machine dispenses in seconds with zero chargeback potential.

Just open-sourced a piece of software I started working on during college in 1998. The first commit is from 2006 though as I wasn't using any source control when I started it. It helped pay my way through college and is still used today.

The vault is open at Crystalogic! Gems you mine can now be sold for gold. Gold buys two tools: the Miner’s Lantern, which explains one valid next step from your board, and the Enchanted Pickaxe, which reveals and locks a single tile.
