I have quit building in public to build in private. I built products for two decades, but AI changed the game. The energy on X went from collaboration to dead over the last 24 months.
I realised, having listened to @gregisenberg, that the biggest opportunity space is deploying AI outside the bubble.
That’s now what I do every day. I find processes for businesses that can be automated.
They sat AI will take jobs. It won’t. Someone like me implementing AI will take jobs, but that’s the game. I also teach AI to regular folks, helping them 100x their productivity.
Build in public was fun, but deploying AI in private is more profitable.

It is NOT Islam month in the UK.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

The anti-Muslim hostility definition has had a chilling effect on free speech.
Since its publication in March, it has been used to silence people who wish to criticise, debate or mock Islam — including private citizens, politicians and comedians.
It has made it harder to speak about issues such as Islamist extremism and the grooming gangs scandal.
Labour has revived Britain’s blasphemy laws for Islam alone, by the back door, 18 years after Parliament abolished them.
Angela Rayner appointed five people to the Working Group tasked with developing the definition. Each of the five members had troubling links to Islamist organisations, and the Government will not say who it consulted as part of its call for evidence.
So who on earth will it appoint as its “anti-Muslim hostility” tsar?
The Free Speech Union does not have high hopes.
Labour is chasing the Muslim vote after hampering support over recent years in Muslim communities. It is sacrificing our right to criticise religion on the altar of electoral ambition.
It is both sinister and shameless.

Remember when Angela Rayner’s department lost the islamophobia notes then claimed they deleted them under GDPR laws?
Well its absolute bollox, It turns out they lied to Parliament and the files were found completely intact on their IT systems
Now they are refusing to release them because they are shitting it we will find out exactly which islamist groups wrote the policy

Wait, Claude Code can burn 47% of your WEEKLY usage in just 2 hours????
Was running Claude Code with plugins, tests, and a pretty heavy workflow.
After just one session:
- 5 hour usage: 86% used
- Weekly usage: 47% used
That's almost HALF the weekly allowance gone in a single coding session LOL.
Ik plugins and repeated testing can consume a lot of tokens, but this still seems crazy.
Anyone else experiencing unusually high Claude Code usage these days??

• An Algerian migrant who was once found in possession of an al-Qaeda training manual is now principal data scientist in the Responsible AI division at the BBC.
• Hicham Yezza was working at the University of Nottingham in 2008 when the document was discovered on his computer; he and a colleague were arrested under the Terrorism Act but released without charge after he said it had been sent for printing.
• He was then rearrested under immigration rules and sentenced in 2009 to nine months in prison for an offence related to his claim of having permission to remain in Britain; he served five months and is now a British citizen.
