Look, I'm as skeptical of NYT bias as anyone. But this post came out at 6am yesterday. While most of you were sleeping. Before anything was really known, and before reporters had time to hear directly from witnesses on the plane. It quotes ISRAELI OFFICIALS sharing what they knew. It's good, responsible reporting. Dunking on it a hours or a day later when way more info is known is hack bullshit, IMO.

Ryan Garton told AP he saw immigration enforcement agents pinning down a man on the side of the road in a Chicago suburb as he was driving home. He pulled over to document what was happening on video. One agent had his knee on the man’s back and was “beating up on him,” Garton said. An agent told local police that they mistook the man for a fugitive and released him after realizing he is a U.S. citizen, according to a police statement.

He was driving with another U.S. citizen to enlist in the Marines when he was pulled over and ripped from his car by ICE.
Someone started recording.
This is the horrific video.
While the boys were being beaten, they repeatedly tell the agents they are CITIZENS — and are ignored.
One agent told said, "I don't give a damn. Your parents can't help you now."
Both teenagers were detained for hours before being released.
They were preparing to serve this country - yet their citizenship did not protect them from being beaten, pepper-sprayed, and detained by their own government.
This is what the Nazis did then, and ICE does now.
