The growing use of AI-generated posters by government departments and other institutions will eventually come back to haunt them. By normalising AI-generated visuals in official communication, they are making it increasingly difficult for the public to distinguish genuine announcements from fabricated ones.
People are already creating fake posters that look remarkably similar to official communications. The danger is that misinformation can now spread under the appearance of credibility

Congratulations to Thulasizwe - I remember those years when he came to SAfm for his journalism internship. The thought of one day being an attorney was far fetched. Today I am proud that he is an attorney👏👏👏👏🙏🙏
Why do I not remember this broadcast @N_Ayanda

Worked with the legendary Thulasizwe on a weekly programme before it was halted at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown. Then, he was balancing full time undergrad law studies with his duties as a prime time news anchor. He took to his endeavors so well, so consistently!
Some dreams take longer to realise. Some come at a greater price. And some moments remind us why giving up was never an option.
I have known Thulasizwe Simelane for more than 20 years. First as colleagues at SAfm Current Affairs, and later as his editor at eNCA. Through all those years, one dream remained constant: he wanted to become an attorney.
It was a dream that came at a high price. Life threw storms his way, some harder than others, but Thulasizwe weathered them with the determination, resilience and grace of a true professional. He never lost sight of the destination.
And so, watching him arrive at his celebration, now an admitted attorney, was a moment of immense pride and joy.
I think I speak for many of our former colleagues when I say there is no one more deserving of this moment. We have watched your journey, witnessed your perseverance and celebrated your victories, both big and small.
Thulasizwe, we are incredibly proud of you. I cannot wait to watch you stand in court and argue for a fairer, more just world. And, God willing, if we live long enough, perhaps one day we will even read a judgment penned by you. Now, wouldn't that be something! @andiswamakanda thank you for a beautiful day

Ex-eNCA Zimbabwe bureau journalist Thulasizwe Simelane has been admitted as an attorney of the High Court, having conquered the rigours of the Oliver Schreiner School of Law. If one rubs shoulders with Zimbabwe, ambition also increases!

I remember watching Thulasizwe Simelane cover Zimbabwe’s 2017 coup for in Harare, capturing the surreal, anxious yet hopeful mood as citizens marched for Mugabe’s resignation. I was still quite a junior journo, and was immensely inspired ... what a masterful storyteller 💐✨️
