Zora has been my life’s work for over five years now. I like to joke that we’ve found a thousand ways to not tokenize a picture. Each iteration from small tweaks, to new features, to token types and market models has brought us closer to the vision of helping information on the internet be valued and as free to share as possible. All while creating an open market for that value to flow between creators, collectors and traders of it all. We used to have hundreds of users a month in 2020, we’ve had millions in recent weeks. If there’s one thing we know how to do as a team (who I am incredibly thankful for and proud of), it’s to keep iterating and shipping to discover the most powerful version of Zora. To my cofounders @dg_goens and @tbtstl and everyone who’s been a part of this incredible Zora team: thank you. I couldn’t have done this without you. To everyone who’s been supporting us through the years: thank you. I’m excited to prove you right. To everyone who’s doubting us: I hear you. I’m taking the learnings and I’m excited to prove you wrong. Today is the first day that $zora is out in the world. While this is a big milestone and something that’s been a very long time coming: this is simply the beginning. 🌜🌞🌛

I just coined my viral horse image This was a pivotal moment for me because it was originally minted on zora before it went viral. When it went viral the market couldn't keep up. It showed me that we needed a more fluid model, and eventually led to us to moving to a pure coins approach.
