If you either voted @UKLabour or still support them, do have a watch of this interview. If having watched it, you still believe they are the best option for growing our economy and governing the country, I’m afraid you deserve whats coming.
Car crash interview on GB News. Labour's Emma Reynolds: 'I don't think employers are working people, they are companies.' Tell that to every small business owner opening up at 6am. Labour promised no tax rises on working people, and now it's redefining who counts.

Emma Reynolds, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, says that employers are not working people. And that putting yet another 2p on income tax for landlords and savers is somehow not income tax. She’s the no.2 minister in the Treasury and attends Cabinet. This is not alright. Throughout the Budget process she must have been fully briefed on its impact so that when she steps out to defend it she can do so without totally messing up. This is not a misstatement on a complex point. This is not an error on a series of figures where one goes awry. This is a fundamental misstatement of the structure of the the UK economy and its tax system. This is serious failing in basic competency. I regularly defend politicians I disagree with over missteps and oversights. On this occasion i think Emma Reynolds should consider her position.

Try telling that to the small business owners working evenings and weekends just to keep their businesses afloat.

Increasing 👏 Tax 👏 Revenue 👏 Doesn’t 👏 Do 👏 Shit 👏 If 👏 Spending 👏 Isn’t 👏 Addressed 👏 How the fuck is this dude a professor of economics 🤦‍♂️
If Democrats win the Senate and the House next Tuesday, one concrete goal should be estate tax reform that: 1) lowers the exemption from $15M to (say) $5M per person, and 2) ends "step-up basis," which lets capital gains built up over a lifetime escape income tax entirely at death. My very rough estimate is that this could raise around $100B a year more than current law (happy to be corrected if the number is off).

This is getting ridiculous now. It's gone from him being a landlord, to owning multiple properties to now being a multi millionaire tycoon. If he's a multi-millionaire I'm not sure where he's hiding it as the fixed assets on his balance sheet amount to £170k.
A multi millionaire property tycoon moaning at paying staff an increased minimum wage. Greed.

I’m sick of people telling me how horrible life is now. By every single metric, it’s the greatest time in human history to be alive. It’s the best time to be alive, you just have to start living man

Laughable. @UKLabour MPs all worried about the future of Poundland. Lots of posts. None make any link between three disastrous budgets, £66+ billion tax rises on families and businesses, ultra expensive energy costs and the effects of their policies on households. It’s not rocket science.
I'm worried about the future of Poundland after the company filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators. Up to 11,000 jobs could be at risk across the country. I've joined MPs and the trade union Usdaw in writing to the Business Secretary calling for urgent action.

Elon has clarified the difference between commercial Starlink and military Starshield countless times. Either you don’t understand the distinction or you’re deliberately pushing a narrative. Ukraine violated Starlink ToS which is on Ukraine, not Elon. The terms have always barred that. Calling it a “federal crime to enrich himself” is an outright lie.
Elon Musk ADMITTED SpaceX throttled Starlink internet access in Ukraine. And new reporting raises serious questions about whether the Starlink outage was used to squeeze more money out of U.S. taxpayers. If true, we’re talking about a trillionaire potentially committing a federal crime to enrich himself. Worth an inquiry, don’t you think?

Here we have a Socialist who is unhappy with the effects of Socialism. 🙄
Poundland has filed to enter administration, putting 11,000 jobs at risk just weeks before Christmas, including here in Brixton. I stand with Poundland workers and @UsdawUnion. The owners must engage with workers and ministers, exploring every option to save jobs and shops.
