Me &AP just left an apartment for a kid refusing to go to school. The mom called & comes to the door wearing a T-Shirt that says "Weird moms rule". The woman told AP she couldn't control her son & even called him "A 13 yr old devil spawn". The boy cussed AP & told him he would not go to school. So, mom REQUESTED he be taken to juvenile. So as soon as AP puts the cuffs on her son the mom starts hyperventilating & starts screaming "Take them off". Then, she lunges towards AP & she herself had to be restrained & also taken into custody. This is a classic example of why domestics are so dangerous for officers. You NEVER know what to expect & have to be ready for anything. Thankfully, today we were a 2 man unit. Having 2 officers on domestics is always preferred but not always possible due to call volume.👮‍♂️ Anyone wanna be a cop? We're hiring!
