I think one of the hardest things for us to get right was the jumping, especially how the camera follows you so you never lose sight of where the character is going to land. At first, we tried adding a blob shadow or landing indicator, but it pulled us too much out of the immersion, so we removed it. Instead, we kept iterating on the camera again and again, and now we’re finally at a point we’re really happy with. Of course, having an air dash helps too... What do you think? Does it look good? #Gamers #gamedevs #indiegames #indiegamedev
