This Toonie Tuesday we are working with the legends at @dzygapaws to raise money for the legendary unit of the Ukrainian Armed forces – the infamous the 108th Separate Assault Battalion "Da Vinci Wolves." Even the name of this unit invokes fear in the orcs. We will be helping heroes like callsign Pikachu – a legendary drone pilot. Let us honour him and his unit with giving them a good toonie.
We are raising funds for Blyskavkas/ Lightning drones, our goal is $8,000.

From the loss of my dad to getting through two surgeries, your kindness and support have meant more than you know. I’m home now, recuperating and taking things one day at a time. I can still picture myself standing in my kitchen, next to the coffee machine, two years ago.
Breaking news: Trump had won the presidential election.
I remember the shock, the disbelief, the overwhelming sense of dread. I could barely believe what I was seeing.
And this morning?
I experienced that same intense shock. But this time, for the exact opposite reason. 🥹❤️
I stared at the election results in absolute disbelief.
This went FAR beyond anything I had dared to hope for.
Even the SENATE! And the House! Both! 🇺🇸🤘🏼
And after Elon Musk poured hundreds of millions of dollars into these elections, the results speak for themselves.
I know this doesn’t mean everything will suddenly be fixed. But I have so much hope that these results will bring meaningful improvements on many fronts.
Above all, for ordinary Americans. For families struggling to make ends meet. For farmers and small business owners. For people who deserve a better future.
And hopefully, the positive effects will reach far beyond America’s borders.
To my American friends: you have every reason to be proud of your participation in democracy today. ❤️

I think it’s important to amplify the voices of those who have everything to lose. I know it’s a generational trauma thing for me, but maybe it’s all by design. Perhaps it was passed onto me so I can help make money for the military - so we could defeat them this time. My mom’s stories would haunt you forever. They haunt me. Evil is haunting and evil is after our families again. This is a nightmare for generations that needs to end, once and for all.

We are not inviting Putin to Kyiv. They came to us without an invitation in 2022. But that’s not why there’s no point in inviting Putin to Kyiv. It’s because he won’t come. The same goes for inviting me to Moscow. What Russia is doing is destructive. It’s simply spitting in the face of the whole world that wants this war to end. That’s why no one will support going to Moscow.
As for a phone call, Russia will use it as an excuse to avoid any further meetings. And we understand this game. It leads nowhere. It would just be a very formal, dry phone conversation where I would once again have to listen to a history lecture from the leader of the Russian Federation, rather than hear about real steps to actually end the war.
If we want to end the war, we have to meet and take the first step: a ceasefire.

Our military sleeping bag fundraiser has now received enough donations to cover 92 sleeping bags! 💪🏼🇺🇦
Today is a big day for our American friends. The midterm elections are here! 🇺🇸
I sincerely hope the results will put some checks on Trump’s power and mark the beginning of a better future, with more attention to the struggles of ordinary Americans, farmers and small business owners.🤞🏼
Meanwhile, my colleague Xandra and her co-driver have arrived safely in Ukraine 🚐❤️🇺🇦
But the situation is difficult. They struggled to find anywhere open to get something to eat, and the list of expected russian attacks was endless.😔
On a happier personal note, my new colleague had her first day yesterday! 🥰
We spent most of it going through explanations, paperwork and her employment contract. But we’re both happy with how it went, and today the real work begins!

The Preamble explicitly states:
“Reaffirming the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark, and recognizing that the People of Greenland constitute a people pursuant to international law with the right to self-determination.”
Article XI also explicitly acknowledges Greenland’s right to exercise self-determination and become independent.

The United States has defence rights under the agreement, NOT ownership of Greenland.
