It hasn't sunk in for #Larkin yet, but he overplayed his hand and won't earn the same reverance that comes with a status as #hometown superstar.
Perhaps his career goes in the direction he wants, but such notability is hard to replicate elsewhere.

Rarely drive in #Toronto, so I relied on Uber yesterday; 10 miles/15KM took one hour, from Queen East/Broadview to Dufferin/Dupont - Whatever should feel like an asset becomes an instant liability.
On the plus side, I'm playin' bass again! First jam was great after many months.
Unsurprised, that he's the fastest #Leafs skater to reach this milestone.
Also, the second fastest 🇺🇸-born player to achieve that feat.
Such a resurgence; Marvelous!
Easy to single the head coach out, for a choice to bench an elite rookie amidst his four-game point streak.
Although players adjust their style within a new roster, so must the coaches - Such a decision was a revelation to both #Hiller and #McKenna.
