Thank you @PriestField1985 for all of your clothes. @MSTrust , you continue to be amazing.
We contribute more than 10 billion pounds to charities each year usually in the UK but #coronavirus has hit charities hard.
What’s being done to make up the shortfall? Anna’s been living with MS for more than 10 years, she’s making and selling face masks for the @MSTrust.

I’m so grateful to have been referred to @BartsHospital for my heart issues. @GlennHoddle has it spot on. It’s a fantastic place. Happy Anniversary to this amazing place #barts900

Today I bought a Disabled Persons Railcard so I can get 1/3 off train travel.
All ppl with MS in the UK are eligible thx to Dominic Shadbolt, @themsguide, who campaigned to ensure ppl with an MS diagnosis automatically qualify.

Her teacher made the class write their cards from scratch with no prompts. Guarantee to have all the mums crying. #MothersDay happy Mother’s Day to all the mother figures and thoughts with those who have the day without their loved ones x

#IsItOk that I went to hand deliver a letter to the Prime Minister today & the ramp only deals with one step & doesn’t leave enough turning space to use it safely…
If #accessibility isn’t right at @10DowningStreet what hope do we have on public transport?
#DisabledByTheRailway

ALT A police officer leans out of 10 Downing Street to take a big envelope from me, I am sat in my powerchair on the pavement.. a ramp is deployed but I was unable to use it. My MP Bell stands between me & the police officer as she had to knock the door for me as it wasn’t accessible for me to do it myself.

I wanted to mostly keep this about the joy of buses, but a government minister just retweeted this thread and I blocked him. The £2 bus are great, but a sticking plaster on a massive problem. I am pro public transport; not an advertisement for this inhumane government.
Had a lovely rare weekday as a family thanks to #teachersstrike we did reading practice and made her work out her change in a shop. And she laughed and played. In fact everywhere I saw parents and kids just enjoying time together. We’ve got you teachers. Don’t worry. You do you.
Striking is hard and always the last resort. Support and strength to everyone making a stand today. Educators, medics, transport workers- 💪🏼 #strikes
Big #PCS shout out to everyone getting ready for their picket lines this morning. This is going to be big!

The Princess of Wales looks to be launching a sincere & thoughtful campaign, but it's kind of wild that Sure Start was an evidence-based solution to the problems she's raising, was evaluated and found to be wonderfully successful, and we're sort of pretending it wasn't cut.
To the teachers striking today- you have my full support. Teaching needs to be an attractive, competitive profession, w/ decent pay to get the absolute best staff. Teachers deserve it and the kids deserve it. #TeacherStrike

The driver of this car just wound down the wonder to shout homophobic slurs at my friends as we were leaving Genesis cinema. I’m beyond furious. I want to take a bat to this car. How DARE he. HOW FUCKING DARE HE.
Apparently this is how one Tory mp addresses concerns by a member of their constituency. #rude #notfittogovern

‘Not one English waterway, including rivers, lakes, estuaries and coastal waters is in good ecological and chemical health at present, with pollution from water treatment plants and agriculture the key sources of the damage.’
@theresecoffey Fancy doing something about this?

To be fair, as a vulnerable, hormonal and mentally unstable pregnant person / mum, you get targeted by lots of companies persuading you that their products will make your world less dark. Mums need support and honest advice. Health visitors? Midwives? Lactation support?
