We still don’t really know what we are doing, but we had a ton of fun the last year!
We got to talk to some amazing people, had wonderful conversations with listeners who shared their thoughts with us, and I learned a ton about comics and their creators!
Thanks to my co-host @TGer_01 for tolerating my lack of film and comic knowledge and my inability to properly pronounce TH 😂

There is something you will find only on To The Moon Cards tonight… 👀
Of course we will have the new Jolly Jack-o comic, but there is something else we’ve been keeping for this very moment for a long time 👀

If you want the best advice for navigating the world, it is simple: say yes to opportunities and prioritize building genuine friendships. It really is that straightforward.

It’s CanonDay 🎙️
We had an amazing conversation with Jamie Jones, artist on @veefriends Comic Articulate Armadillo.
We discussed comics, the creative process and how saying YES and being a good person can open doors you never even knew existed.

Giving myself the creative freedom to just try sh*t out right now - discover other creatives, dive back into things I used to love, and explore things that are new to me
I’ve always been a creative - film, fashion, design, interior, photography, print, … it’s where I am the most me
Tom is gonna kill me for the 6 7 but I had to empathize the amount of spots…clearly 😁
Who nurtured your innate creativity as a child?
I have worked with young kids long enough to know that we are all born with an innate drive to create and be creative.
Some of us had people in their lives who nurtured that side and gave us permission to explore it past childhood, others were told “its time for the ‘real’ world”.
Tomorrow’s episode is a fun one

A year ago. One of the most fun projects I’ve worked on. There is still mud on my walls 😅
How reading @veefriends comic #5 went
From the initial „shock“ of a very different side of Veefriends, to being drawn into the art and storytelling, and navigating the emotional weight of its topic.
One of the craziest moments during NYCC
The universe works in mysterious ways.
We still can’t believe this moment actually happened during New York Comic Con!
One moment we joke with Kate how it will be “real easy to get Bill Sienkiewicz to sign our annual jump” and the next moment he unexpectedly shows up at the VeeFriends Booth…right next to us! 🤯

What started out as getting a few @veefriends annual jumps signed by some of the artist who have contributed to it, turned into trying to get every artist in the book to sign the cover.
During New York Comic Con we got 13 artists + Universe Creator @garyvee to sign the jump
The two signatures we didn’t expect to get that day - @robertliefeld and @SienkiewiczArt 🤯
