The most dangerous person in the age of AI is someone who was mediocre at coding but has taste, and can now build anything

people will name their apps Higvid and then act confused when it's removed from the app store

It's crazy that this and the brainrot app are basically the same app (and both were mega successful)
how did Unrot go from $200K to $40K??? that's an 80% drop in monthly revenue from Apr to Sept. I used to see this app everywhere. it lets you earn screen time by completing good habits. curious to know what happened

it's interesting to see the amount of people who use gemini or cursor when they connect @use_ampli i thought it'd be codex, claude or bust based on xwitter

Gary Vee posts 1000x a day I'll be posting 100 times a day (across social channels) I'm testing it through the end of 2026, using @use_ampli to create and schedule the posts. I'll share the numbers weekly: reach, followers, signups, and what flops.

People who complain about every SaaS being taken would be mindblown to find out that there were other shoemakers before Nike

I'm pretty sure 80% of the girly pop accounts on TikTok are tech bros trying to escape the permanent underclass

Re: LLM optimization 3 factors come into play now with respect to SaaS. I asked my coding agent (Claude) to track onboarding actions. it presented a way to do it ourselves, and then also @posthog as an alternative. 3 factors came into play: 1) my LLM recommended the product 2) i'd already heard of the product before due to their branding 3) it has a generous free tier for me to try instead of building on my own. if i genuinely enjoy it and it's been integrated enough into my product, i would be willing to pay 1000% this is what will help products win in the future.
Day 5 of #buildinpublic after building in private for 1 year > installing posthog to track user onboarding behavior - amazing product, i hope this changes my life > user behavior is interestingly very diff from last time - different conversion rates, different website visitor %, different user behavior after going through the free trial paywall

Freemium SaaS will either make you dirt poor or filthy rich.

You can obsess over your onboarding, but seeing 10 users going through the flow organically will teach you more than an entire month of building

Day 2 of building ViralFarm in public (after building in private for 1 year) > i hired my first growth intern 😁 hoping this takes ViralFarm to new heights 🤞🤞 > working on the MCP UI - agents trigger the MCP in different ways, so i'm working on creating a smooth experience across all agents. The MCP already works perfectly without the UI

Day 1 of building ViralFarm in public (after building it in privately for 1 year). > got off a customer call > he requested a feature, more templates, and reported a bug (couldn't connect his Instagram because he changed from a personal account to a creator account during the connection - fixed now) This is the best type of feedback. Excited to continue iterating 💪💪💪

re: AI product launches: companies keep making massive claims like: "your AI COO", "your AI CMO that makes viral posts", or "Your AI private equity analyst" they get massive launches with millions of views, and their 'ARR' grows temporarily but what ends up happening is: > users churn, > they never build a product for the specific workflows users actually need, > launches becomes less effective, and > their product never grows through word of mouth the companies that actually skyrocket to billion dollar valutions are companies building very niche, specific use cases like: > Gamma (we help you make slideshows), > 11eleven labs (we create ai voices), > Granola (we make ai meeting notes), and > many more
