my trust issues went 📈 even if they clarified that ai was only used for minor retouching and not the actual merch designs, the fact that ai was already involved in the process makes it harder to trust their claims. they should've been transparent from the start.
the vinyl house released an official apology regarding the xdinary heroes collab...
- photos & merch were shot with the members and designed in-house, not ai-generated from scratch
- ai was only used as an assist for small post-shoot retouching edits
- images have been rereviewed and corrected
- artist lettering on the photocard keyring was handdrawn to match xdh's vibe but they apologized for not explaining the design intent sooner & for poor quality checks overall
