Hade möjlighet att tacka fartygschefen på HMS Rapp för besättningens insats när det franska hangarfartyget Charles de Gaulle besökte Malmö i februari. Då upptäckte HMS Rapp en rysk drönare i Öresund och agerade snabbt för att skydda våra franska allierade. (1/3)

HMS Rapp hade i uppgift att bevaka och skydda den franska hangarfartygsstyrkan. När det ryska signalspaningsfartyget Zhigulevsk passerade genom Öresund följde HMS Rapp dess rörelser. Fartygets system upptäckte drönaraktivitet och besättningen störde ut drönaren. (2/3)

Besättningen på HMS Rapp förtjänar ett stort erkännande. Genom hög beredskap och snabbt agerande kunde en olovlig rysk drönarflygning avvärjas. Insatsen visar vikten av professionalism och handlingskraft för att skydda Sverige och våra allierade. (3/3)

An utterly horrific Russian attack on the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. Since this morning, the settlement has been hit several times by aerial bombs. The strikes targeted a school used for humanitarian purposes – people were receiving humanitarian aid there. After the first aerial bomb strike, there was a double-tap strike with nine more bombs, specifically targeting the shelter where people were taking cover. Tragically, 18 people have already been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Five people have been injured. A rescue operation is underway at the site, and the search for people continues. It is extremely difficult. Military forces, first responders, and special services are involved.
The Russians could not have been unaware that every week, local residents who had remained in Komyshuvakha received humanitarian aid at that very location. And this is further proof that Russia wants no de-escalation and no real justice. After the humanitarian operation in Oleshky, there was a moment when the next steps could have shown that progress toward peace was possible. With these killings, Russia is sending an entirely opposite signal: Russia is counting on more killings. There must be a response to this – a response from the world. A strong and tough response. A response to Russia. And support for Ukraine. We must protect lives. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

None of this is unexpected. Sky News, working with the 34th Marine Brigade, has documented how Russia used the Oleshky evacuation as cover to build up its military presence. The footage shows heavy weapons and troops moving in, basements scouted for positions, and civilian bodies removed from the morgue to hide evidence. Pictures that Kremlin didn’t want anyone to see.

Ukraine has requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following Russia’s latest massive missile and drone attacks and the deliberate killing of Ukrainian civilians.
On 29 October, Russian missiles and drones struck Ukrainian cities, killing at least 20 people and injuring more than 80, including children. Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure and railway facilities came under attack, exposing Russia’s utter disregard for human life. From Dnipro and Chernihiv to Kremenchuk and Kyiv, the scale and geography of these attacks show that no part of Ukraine is beyond the reach of Russia’s terror.
These attacks constitute yet another flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter. Russia continues to undermine international peace and security through its aggression while using its permanent seat on the Security Council to obstruct the Council’s ability to fulfil its mandate.
Every new Russian attack must bring a stronger international response, not another round of familiar statements. Ukraine needs additional air defence capabilities to protect its people, and Russia must face greater pressure, tougher sanctions and concrete consequences for its crimes. Russia must feel that its campaign of terror brings only consequences, not concessions.

⚡️BREAKING: Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen warned that Russian athletes will not be welcome in Finland next year if Russia continues its war against Ukraine.
Valtonen announced plans to push EU counterparts to restrict Russian athletes from entering the entire Schengen area.

Around 120 representatives of the clergy have been killed by the Russians. On purpose, not accidentally, in deliberate attacks on these people, on our churches, and on other religious institutions.
Around 800 religious sites were destroyed or damaged. Some of them were one thousand years old, subjected to massive drone and missile attacks – both cruise and ballistic. It’s awful and crazy. And this is not about money. This is about our heritage, history, art, and architecture. You can’t just renovate them. It is very painful for all of us, and of course for our clergy in the first place.

I received a report – we carried out two missile strikes, destroying two Russian Su-34s and hitting an Iskander launcher. Thank you, guys, for this result!
