Thailand’s Cabinet has approved a 72.6-billion-baht energy transition package, including a 50-billion-baht residential rooftop solar program that will allow households to sell surplus electricity to utilities for 2.20 baht per kilowatt-hour.
The initiative aims to accelerate the country’s shift to clean energy while reducing household electricity costs.

The National Museum of American History has an exhibit right now on Filipino American history. It includes the suits that Filipino immigrants bought using the money they earned as agricultural laborers. People aren't just TIRED. They're grieving the lives they thought they'd be living by now while trying to survive a reality that keeps moving the finish line.
Garapalan. There so many seasoned urban poor advocates fit for this job.
Malacañang on Tuesday defended the appointment of 27-year-old Zofia Canlas as head of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), saying she has the dedication and experience needed to perform the job.
At a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro defended Canlas' appointment, emphasizing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s position that the ability to serve the country matters most.
Canlas’ appointment drew criticism on social media following her graduation from De La Salle University with a degree in biology in 2024 and her subsequent designation as the first nominee of the Batang Quiapo party-list.
Social media users also questioned her appointment by recirculating photos of her foreign travels, which she had posted on her personal account.

Can't help but think of that tone deaf cola ad starring Kylie Jenner. Now this is in the middle of an actual protest. Bottled water was part of the pause. It did not save the day 🤷♀️
🚨MUNDO: Na França, manifestantes fazem pausa para hidratação e oferecem água aos policiais antes de retomarem os protestos.

Apa yang bikin kamu nangis di minggu pagi ini?
.
THIS TINY LITTLE HAND 😭😭
.
This truly breaks my heart. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hoping our forests can breathe again soon.

Most people in France can't afford housing.
They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast.
They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

By way of diplomatic language, you can please easily leave Manila and go back to China.
We do not need foreign guests in the form of arrogant, condescending diplomats.

Sana may presscon din on what government is doing to protect our watersheds.
‘MALINIS PO ‘YUNG TUBIG’
Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro drink filtered water from “jerry can,” a pail with a filtration system, on Wednesday.
“Malinis po ‘yung tubig,” Castro said.
“It is like drinking any drinking water,” Gatchalian added.

“LET US REMOVE THE ‘KAWAWA NAMAN ANG VP’ SYNDROME”
Atty. Lorna Kapunan rejected the defense team’s portrayal of Vice President Sara Duterte as a victim, saying the Filipino people are the true victims of Duterte’s use of public funds as she pleased without accountability.
“Hindi puwedeng sabihin na she has not been given the opportunity to present herself,” Kapunan added.
The prosecution on Tuesday dropped three articles of impeachment against her, leaving only Article II on the unexplained wealth. #VPonTrial
