Mental illness is essentially is when a set of psychological symptoms lead to undue distress affecting our life. When disorders presented were based off the studies of western societies, it is difficult to understand what we as Asians/Asian Americans might be experiencing.
It is important to understand what "healthy" and "unhealthy" look like for you and to explore what issues might look like for your culture.
If you have any questions or concerns or would like help navigating mental health, you can email [email protected].
