You are a struggling second tier competitor that is more unethical and lying just because you have no decency or sense of proper behavior and shows your desperation. Straight out lying about if Chris being fired I thought would be below even you.

An interesting day at work. A POC account I worked with signed a 3-year deal. Over several weeks, I was closely involved in the technical side of this POC: building custom features, answering technical questions. Separately, another customer renewed at 36% higher than last year.

After working in devtools, then interacting with and building for enterprises, I've built a stronger conviction that many of the problems we think of as "engineering problems" are just organizational problems underneath.

"Talent is scarce" can sometimes be a recruiting problem. Specifically - - Where you're finding candidates - Compensation expectations - The interview process itself Based on my conversations, a good number of talented engineers aren't interested in usual hiring process.
my team is hiring sde's and it's SO hard to find good engineers nowadays, jobs are everywhere - it's the talented folks who are in scarcity

When we were hiring, I'd engage with engineers at local events. I could identify at least a couple of strong potentials at most events. We'd grab lunch and talk about their aspirations and what they were looking for in their next role. If there was a match, we'd interview them.

For my interviews, I'd go through the candidates' blogs, GitHub, and resume to identify their strongest areas. My "key" questions would be around existing or potential features of our product tailored to their area of expertise. The right folks did well in these rounds.

1/3 200+ registrations, ~100 participants, and an evening of AI harnesses, evals, and agents at Fifthel’s “In the Loop” Hyderabad meet-up. Thanks to our speakers and everyone who joined—and to Lloyds India Technology for hosting! Photos from the evening 📸

I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all. The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field. If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use. This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live. Some of the interesting pages: Treatments: onco.cc/drugs A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/ And targets: onco.cc/targets/ The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/ 1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/ Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/ Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/ Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-requests/ Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/ Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/ Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/ The startups: onco.cc/startups/ Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/ Key medical people: onco.cc/people/ Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/ Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/ There are other views as well, take a browse. Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live. If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated. I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well. I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem. Let the feedback flow!

Starting today, 10,000 scientists across every field, from math to chemistry to physics and more, can get Claude through our new Claude Team plan for scientists. Standard seats are free, and premium seats with 5x usage limits are $15 per month, an 80% discount, for one year. Claude is becoming increasingly capable of scientific work, with recent progress on problems from advanced physics calculations to protein design. Alongside that progress, we've been investing in the research community: Claude Science launched in June, and our AI for Science program funds high-impact projects with free credits. Today's expansion builds on both. Principal investigators (or equivalent) at academic and nonprofit research institutions can sign up, then add the researchers in their group. Over the coming months, we plan to extend the program well beyond the initial 10,000 seats. Learn more: claude.com/programs/team-pla…

We've raised $1.8M in pre-seed funding to navigate the ocean. A new kind of compass: quantum sensors read Earth's magnetic field; AI turns it into position. The Universal Positioning System.

We teach kids things that have no connection to the world around them and wonder why they’re not engaged. So I made this list of books covering 18 core pillars of “boring” infrastructure modern society is built on. There are cathedrals everywhere for those with eyes to see.

Tried the interactive mode in @NotebookLM's audio overviews. You can jump into the deep-dive/ podcast, ask questions, or add comments in real time. Incredibly good!

For the last four months, Claude, GPT and Cursor have been part of my daily engineering workflow. I expected them to make me more productive. The reality was a little more nuanced. Here are the patterns I keep seeing: (1/14)

We have memory for facts about users. I'm looking for memory for collaboration. It learns how I like to reason, make decisions, and prefer to work. I shouldn't have to teach "don't jump to implementation" twice. This would eliminate most of my prompt engineering. (13/14)

There's a lot of interesting work to be done in long term user-model collaboration beyond remembering facts about users. I've been experimenting with making my collaboration preferences portable across models. Would love to know what others are building in this space!
