Day 3! Immediate Payment of 25/35% CONMESS Upward Review Arrears. An approved entitlement should not require endless waiting. At the AGM, NARD resolved that all outstanding arrears from the 25/35% CONMESS review owed to doctors and healthcare workers must be cleared without further delay. The clock is ticking...

Dear Mentors, Teachers, Leaders, Colleagues, Friends, Family and Loved ones, 06-08-2026 will forever be etched in my memory. You all stood still for a moment to celebrate me. Those moments from you, added up, became an avalanche of emotions and happiness for me. It came from your hearts, and it drowned me in so much HEARTS I felt SEEN, I felt SAFE, I felt LOVED, I felt APPRECIATED, I felt all VALIDATIONS, I felt my CONVICTIONS strengthened, I felt HONORED, I even felt ADORED, Above all, I FELT PROTECTED by you all. “…..Word after word, Phrase after phrase, Sentence after sentence, Paragraph after paragraph, Message after message, Call after call, Voice note after voice note, Gift after Gift….” You all filled my day with warmth, my heart with joy, and my soul with happiness and fulfillment. Leadership rests tough decisions on many shoulders with their attendant consequences; constantly reflecting on how to be better is one of the hallmarks of great leadership. In the last few months, I have had to make many tough decisions, and I kept reflecting on whether they were all worth it. Yesterday was a LOUD YES. It was ALL WORTH IT. -Permit me to rightly and justly share the accolades with Members of my NOC and the CP, e-NOC, NEC Members, Past NARD Leaders and every NARDite across the Country. -Permit me also to thoroughly appreciate those who guided and directed events (and especially the last 11 months), without whom we may not have been here. These include our Elders in the Profession, including the leadership of NMA, Elders and Leaders within Government cycles. I know how much I have relied on the influence and inputs of the above two groups. But perhaps my greatest appreciation goes to my lovely wife and beautiful daughters, who supported me fully, endured all my absences, and still show me unconditional love and respect. Thank you all. I hope my next year (and many years to come) will be even more fruitful for our profession, colleagues, and country. P-MUS 07:08:2026

🎉 *HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR DEAR P-MUS – THE STRATEGIC HELMSMAN OF NARD* 🎉 On behalf of the entire NARD NOC, E-NOC, NEC Members, the Crown Prince of NARD, and every NARDITE across the federation, *we proudly celebrate an exceptional leader, an uncommon strategist, and the indefatigable 001 of NARD—Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman (Garkuwan Matasan Arewa), the President of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors.* *"Great leaders do not merely occupy positions; they inspire movements, redefine possibilities, and leave footprints that time cannot erase."* Today, we celebrate a man whose name has become synonymous with vision, courage, and purposeful leadership. A leader who does not wait for opportunities to appear but creates them. *A man whose eloquence commands attention, whose intellect earns respect, and whose strategic brilliance continues to inspire confidence within and beyond the medical profession.* P-MUS is not merely leading NARD; he is writing a remarkable chapter in its history. Through resilience, wisdom, and unwavering commitment, he has transformed challenges into opportunities and given resident doctors a stronger voice on the national stage. His interventions have resonated far beyond the walls of our hospitals, making his name a familiar refrain across the media landscape and among Nigerians from every walk of life. *"Leadership is measured not by the applause that follows, but by the lives that are transformed."* Sir, over the past eleven months, your stewardship has been nothing short of extraordinary. You have championed the welfare of doctors with uncommon courage, negotiated with remarkable tact, and demonstrated that strategic leadership is built on vision, empathy, and decisive action. Little wonder many affectionately wish your tenure could continue even longer—a testament to the profound impact of your service. Beyond the boardroom and negotiation table stands a brilliant physician. *As a Senior Registrar I in Pulmonology, you continue to distinguish yourself in both clinical and interventional pulmonology,* exemplifying excellence in medicine while simultaneously steering the affairs of thousands of resident doctors with remarkable dexterity. And yes, *as a passionate Arsenal supporter, your unwavering faith in the Gunners remains as steadfast as your commitment to NARD—always ready to remind Manchester United supporters and every rival that true champions never stop believing!* As you mark another glorious year, we pray that Almighty Allah grants you enduring good health, divine protection, greater wisdom, abundant prosperity, and even higher platforms for service. May your influence continue to transcend the medical profession, and may your legacy remain a beacon for generations of leaders to come. May your days be filled with favour, your path illuminated with success, and your future adorned with greater accomplishments. *Happy Birthday, our Strategic Militant, our Cerebral Leader, our P-MUS.* *Dr. Divine Irole* *NARD VP II* *06:08:26*

WELFARE IN ACTION: NARD CONTINUES TO STAND WITH ITS OWN MEMBERS 🤝🕊️ Good afternoon distinguished NARDITES. In keeping with the pragmatic, compassionate, and necessary leadership of the current NARD administration ably led by Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman (P-MUS), this is to update members that, another ₦3 Million has been disbursed to the families of three (3) deceased colleagues through the NARD Welfare Trust Fund, bringing the total welfare support paid so far to ₦11.7 Million. This intervention remains a strategic welfare legacy of NARD — a commitment aimed at ensuring we care. While no amount can truly heal the pain and trauma of losing a loved one, especially a spouse, we believe that as one united NARD family, it is our responsibility to stand by one another in difficult times and extend a hand of love and support to the bereaved and those in need. The leadership of NARD remains unwavering in its commitment to prioritizing the welfare, solidarity, and wellbeing of members as a core vision of our united purpose.
