Being alone doesn’t mean you’re lonely. It means you’re choosing yourself over people who don’t deserve you
Love is when you let someone see the ugly parts and they don’t flinch. Obsession is when you hide them so they never run
Love isn’t about finding someone who completes you. It’s about finding someone who makes you okay with being incomplete
People get so caught up in defining themselves as introverts or extroverts that they forget to just be people. Introverts act like it’s an excuse to hide from the world and avoid any kind of interaction, while extroverts feel like they have to constantly be “on” and entertaining everyone. It’s exhausting and fake.
And don’t even get me started on society’s endless need to categorize everything. The way they keep adding new genders and sexualities, like they’re trying to make things so complicated that nobody knows who they are anymore. Instead of just letting people be themselves, society creates all these barriers and rules about who can be included and how they should act. It’s all a bunch of BS.
Nothing is really stopping people from socializing and connecting except for the stupid labels society insists on sticking on everyone. These labels just create more distance and make it harder for people to be real with each other. It’s depressing how much time we waste on this crap instead of just living our lives and connecting on a genuine level.
Why should I have to "find a therapist" personally I think the therapists should all be fighting over who gets to be the one to delve into my beautiful mind
If someone wants you, they’ll act like it. If they don’t, they’ll still keep you around for validation
Love isn’t dead, it’s just hiding behind bad timing and people who are scared to feel something real
People say ‘live like it’s your last day’, but let’s be honest - most of us would just take a nap and cry
