Hello guys.
I wanted to clarify some things.
This might seem like a surprise to some, but I have decided not to re-sign with NRG. This was probably one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make in esports.
I have been seeing all of the fan messages wanting our team to all stick together and run it back again but I have to do what I think is best in my heart. Sometimes you have a feeling deep down that it was the right move and that's what I'm feeling. We accomplished so much as a team and it really does suck to close this chapter, but life goes on.
Being a pro player sometimes requires very tough decisions and my goal as a player is to put myself in the best spots to win another trophy. If I believe this will be a better decision longterm I will always do it. I hope this helps clarify my decision even more and where I'm coming from.
I have nothing but love and respect for all my teammates, coaches, staff and wish everyone the best of luck going forward. NRG was the first partnered that took a chance on me so I will always be grateful for that opportunity I received.
On to the next chapter, goodbye.

I've been playing around with positional data a lot lately. This is analysis of what the most effective places to play defense as Omen on Sunset. Orange spots indicate a higher than map average K/D with trades removed and Blue are below that K/D.
These spots were reviewed across multiple years and considered both first fights and all fights.
Omens who collapse back on site and bunker in the default positions consistently get less value than those who retreat to spawn and the elevated angles. The difference is approximately .5 K/D which is quite large.
The best spot on the map according to 3 years of data is the "Boo" angle in Elbow.
