It quite literally was in the 20th century. We've only had 26 years of the 21st, why would people be suddenly different?

Lol that's exactly what you're saying
Replying to @DavideMastracci
I am of course not saying Canadian media needs to endorse Hamas’s motivations or present its claims as facts when/if they outline its narrative, but that’s what they do for Israel.
Yeah because it's fucking stupid to quote a terrorist organization's explanation to the English language press

Hamas has published a detailed explanation for why it launched an attack on Oct. 7, 2023. As far as I know it’s rarely if ever quoted by Canadian media outlets, even though they’re more than willing to present Israeli motives not just in great detail but also as fact.
It's true they should have printed that Hamas's motive for the attack was to genocide Jews
People calling the Israeli flight hijacking a false flag don't think it's real because they've pretty much never seen capable people do stuff before
My dude, there was an entire UN conference about that
If you're arguing that Israelis have been radicalized you have to say how or why. They have no reservations asking that question of Palestinians. Why so reticent with Israelis? Is it because part of the narrative trick here is to position them as fundamentally evil, beyond hamas?
Is he on your list of Jews?
People Love Dead Jews
A disgraceful update.
The Mauthausen Memorial has issued an official statement that did NOT condemn the visitor who wore a “Free Palestine” shirt featuring the face of a Palestinian terrorist who led a massacre that murdered 38 Israeli civilians, including 13 children.
Instead, the museum framed the problem as “the vociferous reaction from one female visitor.”
Read that again.
If that brave woman hadn’t been filmed speaking up, the memorial would have done nothing. The staff didn’t even notice the offensive shirt until she forced the issue.
To make it worse, the Museum described the offender as part of an “anti-Fascist youth camp” — as if that label magically excuses turning a Nazi concentration camp into a stage to glorify a murderer of Jews.
Then the final insult: the museum declared that political debates are “desirable” at the site.
The Museum is effectively inviting Holocaust inversion and pro-Hamas provocations onto sacred ground. A place of mass murder is not a set piece for radical Middle East activism.
Mauthausen is a graveyard. It is not a free-speech zone for those who mock the dead.
Fire the directors. Replace them with people who still understand what this place is — and what it must never become.
Gets mad that IJV wasn't consulted for participation in the study but also calls it an attempt to deflect attention from Israel.
The cognitive dissonance abides
So sounds like she'd rather spend her time being a pro palestine activist instead of a doctor, and left her day job to do that full time.
Sounds like a win-win situation to me.
Dr. Kavita Algu resigned from Mt. Sinai Hospital after feeling she was unfairly targeted for her Palestinian advocacy. I leaned on internal reports, notes, emails, interviews with staff etc. to investigate. A gift link to read the story without paywall: thestar.com/gift-redeem?t=2a…
