Writing is the superpower of humankind. It is our truest form of magic. Writing allows you to conjure up something of value where nothing previously existed. It costs little for you to write down the lessons of your life and yet those few minutes spent writing can be life-altering for the right reader. As I once saw it put: "there is someone out there with a wound in the exact shape of your words." Furthermore, writing is the foundation of nearly every technology and innovation because we have to record what we know before we can build upon it. And these innovations are passed down from generation to generation, allowing our children to inherit a richer intellectual fortune than what we were born into. The world is richer because we write and nobody is made poorer in the process.

Someone on Reddit built his wife a job search app. She is a junior software engineer, and her job search had dragged on for almost 10 months. Tailoring a resume for every posting took ages. So he built Dossier. It finds postings, then writes a tailored resume, cover letter and email for each job, using only facts from her profile. It tracks every application from draft to offer on a board, and it runs on your own server, with a local AI model option, so your data stays with you. She landed a job with it, so he open-sourced it for anyone in the same spot. It is free at github.com/AienTech/dossier.

Dreams that seem out of reach today can turn into reality tomorrow. Life that feels directionless today can overflow with abundance tomorrow. Whether late or early, what's meant to bloom will bloom. You came this far despite struggles. You will arrive where you are meant to.

One day, a billionaire was saying goodbye to his longtime secretary as she retired. Wanting to thank her for years of loyalty, he decided to give her a few million dollars so she’d never have to worry about money again. To his surprise, the secretary shook her head and said, “Why would you do that? I already have a few billion of my own.” Completely stunned, the billionaire replied, “But… how? You’ve only ever made five or six thousand dollars a month. How could you possibly save that much?” She smiled and said, “All those years, I sat in on your meetings. When you were on the phone buying land or stocks, I quietly did the same, just on a smaller scale. I copied your moves. So when you made millions, I made hundreds of thousands. And when you made billions, I made millions.” 💡 Life lesson: Who you surround yourself with matters. There are people who drain your energy… and people who lift you higher. Bees always lead you to flowers. Surround yourself with people who inspire growth, not negativity. When you walk with smart people, you grow wiser. When you walk with driven people, you start aiming higher. When you walk with dreamers, you learn to dream bigger. But if you spend your time with those who complain, who have no dreams, no goals, they’ll only pull you down. 👉 Choose your circle wisely. 👉 Build the kind of environment that fuels your growth. 👉 And be that positive force for the people around you.

Be rich, but never talk about money. Be fit, but never talk about working out. Be sharp, but never mention books. You're a man. Neverrrrrrrrrr everrrrrrrrrr let excitement make you announce things prematurely. Stay low-key and move silently. Trust me, you'll never regret it.

Your victory is closer than you think. Keep your head up, trust the process, and stay consistent. Everything you've been working toward is slowly falling into place. The struggles, the setbacks, and the silent battles weren't for nothing. Don't give up now.

Underrated life advice: Keep a list of the people who believed in you early. The teacher who pushed you. The boss who took a chance. The friend who told you to go for it. Every now and then, reach out. Update them. And tell them just how much you appreciate what they did for you.

I'm done with traditional travel. I'm tired of dragging luggage through airports, rushing through cities, standing in queues, and travelling thousands of miles just to look at a monument someone built hundreds of years ago. I don't care about ticking off the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the pyramids. Fuck 'em. I want to find a quiet place in the mountains and stay there for 10 days. Wake up slowly. Drink coffee with a view. Listen to the birds. Go for walks. Read books. Think. Do absolutely nothing. That's it. Stillness and peace. That's all I want.

New case study on our blog for @WooCommerce. We audited 43 extensions for #a11y. Teams at @Automattic and @Fueled remediated and we published #Accessibility Conformance Reports. ~500 accessibility issues were resolved + now merchants have much more transparency when comparing plugins. equalizedigital.com/woocomme…

My entire life changed when I realized that anything above zero compounds. That showing up consistently matters more than showing up perfectly. That small things become big things. Never allow optimal to get in the way of beneficial.

According to Neuroscience, your brain doesn’t care about your goals. It only cares about what you repeat. Every action you take strengthens a neural pathway, and whatever you do daily becomes who you are. If you want to be a writer, wanting it won’t rewire anything. Your brain doesn’t know you wanted to write. It only knows you wrote 50 days in a row. Act first, and the identity catches up later. I did this with writing online. I had no clue what I was doing, so I just published every single day. 7,000+ essays later, Penguin offered me a book deal. It wasn’t talent. It was repetition rewiring my brain into the type of person who writes.

You can achieve almost anything you want in life if you learn to master one thing: Shame. That fear of looking stupid. Fear of being judged. Fear of trying and failing in public. The reality is: People judge. People talk. And then… people forget. So, fuck what people think. Just do what you gotta do. This one singular mindset shift can change your whole life.

Seeing people who have been through so much finally find their happiness will always mean something special to me. There is something beautiful about watching someone who once struggled to get through the day slowly begin to smile again, trust life again, and experience the peace they always deserved. Knowing how much they survived makes their happiness even more meaningful. Some people deserve a thousand beautiful days simply because of how many painful ones they had to endure to get here.
