Big day! MarcoPolo is now available directly in @ChatGPTapp 🧵 We built a secure execution layer so AI can actually work with your org's data. Debug prod issues across log files. Build dashboards. Ask ad hoc questions of your business data. Here's how it works 👇

J.P. Morgan: more than 100% of the FCF decline at hyperscalers ends up at Nvidia $NVDA $AMZN $GOOGL $META $MSFT $ORCL
The AI money flow in one chart Big Tech spends trillions building SI infrastructure.

NVIDIA sells the picks and shovels. Thats why more than 100% of the free cash flow decline at hyperscalers ends at $NVDA

Every. Single. TAM. Forecast. Stops at 2030. What happens after that?
Lisa Su just put numbers on the agentic wave: 14x growth in agentic traffic this year alone. Inference is now 60% of the AI market. And she's calling a $1.5T data center accelerator TAM by 2030. The buildout isn't slowing.

It’s a race between irresponsible politicians spending more than they can afford, and technologists building AI to lead into the age of abundance. Who wins will determine your net worth more than any personal decisions you make.
The global debt crisis is set to get even worse: The US fiscal deficit is projected to widen to -6.1% of GDP in 2027, its largest since 2012, excluding the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021. This will be the biggest deficit as a % of GDP among the 5 major developed economies, including the UK, Germany, France, and Japan. Furthermore, Germany's deficit is expected to widen from -2.7% of GDP in 2025 to -4.1% in 2027, its largest since 2010, excluding the 2020 pandemic. Japan's fiscal deficit is estimated to more than triple, from -0.7% to -2.5% of GDP, its largest since 2022. The UK is the only economy expected to improve its fiscal position, with its deficit narrowing from -4.3% in 2025, to -3.1% of GDP next year, while France's budget gap is projected to widen to -5.2%. Deficit spending is only accelerating.

Why Modern Sellers Struggle to Sell to the C-Suite: More than any other factor, C-Suite executives care about one thing when evaluating a potential purchase: The business outcome your solution will deliver. According to Gartner, there is a 20% lift in the likelihood of a deal when executives experience strong “business outcome framing” from the seller. That’s not the surprising part. We all know executives respond best when you sell a positive business outcome. But now consider this: Business Outcome Framing ranked DEAD LAST among eight selling skills assessed across 1,592 sellers and approximately 300,000 sales calls. In other words: Today’s sellers are weakest exactly where executive buyers need them strongest. That’s an expensive business problem. I'm going to be releasing the full data report on Friday, October 23. Opt here here (and get 50 questions that sell) to get it: caliber.io/list-50-questions

An OpenAI employee snuck a listening device in the office. He’s been caught, fired and is facing charges. A storyline from “Silicon Valley” strikes again.
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work. At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated. We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.

SITUATION DETECTED: Anthropic believes AI models may be only months away from being capable of self-replicating without access to a datacenter by using commercial devices like Android smart TVs.

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

I am gonna bet a 1$ that bro is not getting into India after this taunt.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani, Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India. Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete? There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better. Thank you 🙏

Founder vesting is basically a prenup for two people who aren't married but somehow have created something even harder to divide. Equity.

In the past 24 hours we got a monster monthly report from $TSMC and the most profitable quarter in corporate history from Samsung… yet… tech stocks dumped today because a handful of idiots in the media don’t know the difference between gross revenues and net revenues 🤣

I am going to try all these use cases
If AI labs want personal assistants to take off at scale, they need to stop marketing vacations, reservations, party planning, etc. These are not problems. Focus on *the* problem facing Americans: the cost of living. Agents can offer a ton of help. Some ideas: (🧵)

Founders always be hustling for a bigger TAM!
This will sound super crazy, but I see a path to SpaceX being worth orders of magnitude more than the current Earth economy
