Several units in NWDC report they’re being left w/o water because the pipes are damaged. Because of this, they have not had hot water for a long time and there are several people in the medical area with flu and without medications

A heavily-followed Israeli Telegram page posted a video of cats devouring the body of a dead man in Gaza. The responses were appalling, consisting either of mockery of the situation or pity for the cats, forced by starvation to feed on the corpse of a so-called "terrorist." Typically, I don't dwell on such videos and replies. I’m aware of the prevalent racism in Israeli society. However, it's becoming increasingly evident that there exists a profound and abiding animosity towards Palestinians. This hatred is not merely a product of the ongoing war; it represents deep-seated resentment towards an entire people. One that cannot be resolved anytime soon. The systematic dehumanization of Palestinians seems to be the only justification deemed necessary for usurping their homes, occupying their land, exploiting their resources, denying their freedom, and eradicating their existence. Zionist hatred of Palestinians is at the essence and core of Zionist ideology.

Israel wants to expel more Palestinians from their homes and lands in a single day than it did during the entire 1948 Nakba. More than 1.1 million Palestinians live north of the red line at Wadi Ghazzah; Israel wants to relocate all of them to the south of it in 24 hours.

BREAKING: Seattle City Councilmembers revived a recently voted down bill that many community activists are calling War on Drugs 2.0. We spoke with Sara on her campaign trail about her experience with drugs, mushrooms, and what she hoped to accomplish while in office. The vote will happen today at 2pm in City Hall and is expected to pass 6-3. This drug criminalization policy was first championed by councilmember Sara Nelson and she will be a "yes" vote today.

Last week I broke my elbow and sprained my wrist. Both on the right and I’m right handed. I have a splint and a sling on my dominant arm. I pretty much type all day for my job and it’s been awkward and painful. Not once has anyone offered to reduce my workload #fuckcapitalism
