Incredibly excited to announce: I’ve decided to join @primitive to help build the communication layer for agents!
Email is already the universal protocol for getting things done online. The problem is the infrastructure behind it was built for humans, not agents
Because of this, Primitive is rebuilding that infrastructure from the ground up so agents can have their own email address, ask questions, receive answers, handle attachments, coordinate with other agents & actually participate in the world asynchronously. Primitive agents will integrate into your infrastructure, not the other way around.
I love the idea of building agentic systems that move from passive observers to useful participants & I'm incredibly excited to ship alongside Ethan @itsjustemail Ben @_poile_ & the rest of the team :)
looking forward to co-judging this @ycombinator hackathon with @itsjustemail and @_poile_
can't wait to see what email agents you build with @primitive :)

Email is already the universal communication protocol.
So what can you build when an agent gets its own email address?
On October 17–18, @Primitive is joining @ycombinator for the Make Something Agents Want hackathon, alongside Armature, Blaxel, Inkbox, Insforge, Manufact & Stripe.
We’re putting up $6k+ for the Best Agent Communication Setup with Primitive.dev
→ Give your agent an identity.
→ Let it ask questions, receive replies, handle attachments & coordinate asynchronously.
→ Then show us what you built.

It’s so refreshing to read the writing of someone who understands what it means to be human. Ashley writes about the future that I want to create. We should aspire to create abundance so that we can live in this future ❤️

I love this and really hope we can come together as an industry and make it happen.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

I wish there was a better universal standard for detecting human-written vs ai-written content
GPTzero and zerogpt seem to have similar findings. Pangram seems to always be more inclined to detect AI
For reference, the post in question was 100% human written
