10,000+ alleged voter-detail alterations in Pilibhit. One voter reportedly registered 13 times in Azamgarh. If genuine voters can be erased or their identities altered while duplicate entries survive, electoral integrity is in peril. Demand an independent audit, accountability and protection of every citizen’s right to vote.
The Indian Express has reported over 10,000 alleged voter detail alterations in Pilibhit. Meanwhile, in Azamgarh, one voter was reportedly registered 13 times. The report raises serious questions about the integrity of UP’s electoral rolls ahead of the Assembly elections. @IndianExpress

UP’S GEN Z IS DEMANDING BADLAV. THE QUESTION IS WHETHER THOSE IN POWER ARE LISTENING. Watch NewsLaundry’s ground report: youtu.be/A3lNAvMp8eo NewsLaundry’s ground report captures young people confronting unemployment, delayed government recruitment, paper leaks, unaffordable coaching and the policing of student protests. Their demand is not privilege; it is opportunity, accountability and dignity. Even voices across political divides acknowledge failures in education, inflation and local governance. The message is clear: jobs cannot remain promises, examinations cannot be compromised, and peaceful questioning cannot be answered with lathis. Democracy is not a licence for any government to rule indefinitely. Young citizens have every right to demand change through their votes. A generation preparing for its future deserves jobs, quality education and answers—not endless waiting and intimidation. Listen to the youth. Fix the system. Let democracy deliver change.

WHEN VOTERS’ RIGHTS ARE AT STAKE, SILENCE IS NOT AN OPTION. Read The Wire: m.thewire.in/article/politic… The INDIA bloc is taking its fight against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to the public, with a symbolic public impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and testimonies from people affected by the exercise. The Election Commission is entrusted with protecting the integrity of elections—not undermining public confidence through opaque procedures or unexplained voter exclusions. Every deletion must be justified. Every eligible voter deserves due process, transparent criteria and a meaningful opportunity to appeal. A name missing from the electoral roll is not merely an administrative statistic; it can mean a citizen silenced at the ballot box. This public hearing must put affected voters at the centre of the debate. The demand is bigger than any party: protect the vote, ensure accountability and defend the Constitution. Democracy cannot survive if citizens must struggle to prove their right to participate in it.

VOTER RIGHTS CANNOT BE LEFT TO ADMINISTRATIVE DISCRETION. The Hindu’s latest editorial raises serious constitutional questions about the Election Commission’s SIR process. Can an electoral authority question citizenship without clear standards—and can voters already on the rolls be removed on suspicion? The right to vote is the foundation of representative democracy. Electoral-roll revision must not become a mechanism for exclusion through vague criteria, opaque procedures or inadequate safeguards. The Supreme Court must ensure clear legal standards, fair hearings, reasoned decisions and effective remedies before eligible citizens lose their vote. No eligible voter should have to fight the system merely to retain a democratic right. Protect the voter. Demand transparency. Defend the Constitution. WHEN JOURNALISM BECOMES A MEGAPHONE FOR POWER, DEMOCRACY PAYS THE PRICE. Watch Neha Bora’s full conversation with Scroll: youtube.com/watch?v=-2SJAepi… Student activist Neha Bora’s interview with Scroll raises a fundamental question: what happens when television news replaces scrutiny with demonisation, labels dissenters “anti-national,” and amplifies suspicion against minorities? Her argument is that hate and bigotry do not grow in isolation. When influential newsrooms repeatedly stigmatise Muslims, Dalits, workers and dissenting voices, they can normalise prejudice and help legitimise violence. A democracy needs journalists who question those in power—not studios that manufacture enemies, assassinate reputations or treat peaceful protest as a threat. The media must be held accountable through evidence, ethical journalism and public scrutiny. Criticism is not censorship; accountability is not persecution. A free press must serve the public, not the powerful. Dissent is not treason. Peaceful protest is not a crime. And no citizen should have to prove their patriotism because they challenge the government.

YOUR VOTE IS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. NO ELECTION COMMISSION CAN TREAT IT CASUALLY. Ravish Kumar highlights serious questions surrounding SIR, the Election Commission’s “logical discrepancy” criteria and the use of Form 6 for people whose names were already on electoral rolls. The Supreme Court’s reported observations make one principle vital: an interim arrangement is not a final ruling on legality. Voter verification must be transparent, lawful and open to judicial scrutiny. A citizen already enrolled should not be pushed into a misleading declaration simply to reclaim a vote. Deletions must be justified, notices meaningful, and corrections accessible without arbitrary hurdles. The fundamental question is simple: does the process protect genuine voters, or risk excluding them from democracy? Demand transparent criteria, public data, due process and accountability from the Election Commission. Every eligible citizen’s vote matters. Electoral-roll revision must strengthen democracy—not weaken public trust in it. Watch Ravish Kumar’s full explanation: facebook.com/share/v/1HtAoUR…

WHEN IDEOLOGY MEETS STATE POWER, DEMOCRACY MUST ASK HARD QUESTIONS. Watch the discussion and examine the documentary claims critically: youtu.be/oCRsCSM8BP4 Professor Shamsul Islam’s discussion on the RSS, Hindutva and Zionism raises serious questions about religious nationalism, majoritarian politics, caste hierarchy and the treatment of minorities. The historical record deserves scrutiny. In We, or Our Nationhood Defined (1939), M.S. Golwalkar praised Nazi Germany’s racial-purity project as a lesson for India. That passage warrants serious public discussion, particularly when equality and citizenship are at stake. India’s growing strategic relationship with Israel must also be debated honestly—without confusing diplomatic cooperation with proof of ideological identity or collective guilt. No religion or community should be demonised. No government or organisation should be beyond criticism. Palestinians deserve freedom and dignity; Indian Muslims, Christians, Dalits and every citizen deserve equal rights under the Constitution. A secular democracy cannot be built on religious supremacy, racial hierarchy or selective human rights. The answer is historical evidence, open debate, constitutional equality and accountability—not hatred against any community.

WHEN STUDENTS MUST SELL BLOOD TO CONTINUE STUDYING, INDIA MUST ASK WHAT HAS GONE WRONG. A Dainik Bhaskar undercover investigation in Prayagraj, reported on 26 October 2026, found financially distressed NEET and SSC aspirants saying they were selling blood to pay coaching fees, hostel bills and food expenses. This is not yet proof of a statewide crisis, but the reported accounts demand urgent investigation. No young person should have to risk their health to pursue an education. A nation’s progress cannot be measured by GDP alone. It must also be measured by whether poor students can learn, live with dignity and build a future without desperate choices. Education must open doors, not push students towards desperation. Investigate the alleged blood-selling network, protect vulnerable students and make educational support accessible. INDIA’S YOUTH ARE HUMAN BEINGS, NOT CORPORATE RESOURCES. When working long hours becomes a test of loyalty and constant availability a condition for keeping one’s job, is that work ethic—or economic insecurity? A nation’s competitive strength lies in the talent, creativity, innovation and productivity of its people, not in how much of their personal lives employers can consume. India’s young workforce deserves fair wages, dignity, reasonable working hours and time for family, rest and life beyond the workplace. Build a country that rewards what its young people create—not how much of their lives they sacrifice. The future of India must be measured in human potential, not exhaustion. threads.com/share/BCOh13EdEW…

Abhijeet Dipke ( @abhijeet_dipke ) has said that the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) stands with those raising concerns over the Jamia issue and will speak for people fighting against injustice. Acknowledging that CJP is a recent initiative, Dipke said the organisation has been dealing with its own challenges, including the jailing of members and detention of volunteers. He appealed for patience if the group cannot respond immediately to every issue, promising to do its best with public support.
