Microsoft reports >50% higher throughput for Copilot workloads quarter over quarter. The effective supply of compute can grow faster than the installed base of hardware. Efficiency gains deserve attention alongside the capex numbers.
As AI expands the supply of promising drug candidates, clinical development becomes an even tighter bottleneck. Faster discovery needs capacity downstream to reach patients. Excited to see @BenjamineYLiu, @lintaho and @FormationBio put $600M toward expanding that capacity!
Today we’re announcing the $600M Formation Bio Drug Development Accelerator Fund.
@lintaho and I started @FormationBio because we believed the biggest bottleneck in bringing new medicines to patients wasn’t drug discovery, but drug development.
As AI dramatically accelerates discovery, that bottleneck is only becoming more acute. Without the capital and capacity to advance promising drugs through clinical trials, much of that progress won’t translate into medicines for patients.
Our new Fund brings together dedicated capital, drug development expertise, and AI-powered development capabilities to acquire promising drugs and advance them through the clinic.
A few minutes back on every patient visit will add up quickly. Giving clinicians better context for those visits could matter even more. Lots to be excited about in what @ShivdevRao and the @AbridgeHQ team are building.

The most interesting data in AI may be the data that doesn’t exist yet. Models that guide experiments, then learn from the results, could fundamentally change the pace of scientific discovery.
We built high-throughput materials labs in Menlo Park to create a loop between experiments and models. The labs generate fresh data, the models learn from it, and then help us decide what to try next.
Using only 1,300 H200s, plus months of our experimental data, we mid-trained and RL’d an open-source model to surpass GPT-6 Astra on our analysis benchmark. We call it Neon.
This is real footage from our lab. We’re focusing first on hard problems in materials science, including superconductors, magnets, and semiconductor materials.

Exactly 10 years ago (Jan 2016), I stepped in as CEO. We had just closed out Q4 with a total of $600k in revenue (screenshot from board deck).
Fast forward a decade.
Q4 audited GAAP Revenue: $1,290M and over $5.4B revenue run-rate ending January.
I’ve never tweeted our exact quarterly financials before, but seeing that $1.29B number cross my desk on my 10-year anniversary hit differently. To the team that built this: thank you. If you're following the data space, you know exactly what this milestone means. 🏗️
