🚨New Property Alert
Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur opens today. It’s the brand’s first hotel in Malaysia.
It’s all suites — 268 of them. The smallest is 80 sqm, and the top Waldorf Astoria Suite is 745 sqm.
It’s in KL’s Golden Triangle on Jalan Raja Chulan, right by Bukit Bintang and Pavilion, with the Petronas Towers close by.
The bit Indians should care about: Garima Arora is opening Yaari here, a modern Indian restaurant. She runs Gaa in Bangkok (two Michelin stars), and she was the first Indian woman to win one. Jean-Georges is doing three venues too.
The spa covers two whole floors (2,275 sqm), with a hammam, salt saunas, a 20m pool, and La Prairie treatments.
People keep asking if booking through an advisor actually saves money.
