We nationalists have been so busy critiquing Ramayana that we've handed these anti-national elements the perfect ammunition to ridicule our own Ramayana itself. This is precisely what is wrong with the way some self proclaimed hardcore nationalists are responding to Ramayana we are losing sight of whats happening. Remember one thing that our Itihaas our culture are our soft power. At a time when Pakistan and Bangladesh are increasingly trying to appropriate our cultural heritage under South Asian tag, we need to establish visibly that all of this is from Sanatan civilisational roots else its gonna be stolen from us. Name one movie ever made on global scale which encompasses the majestic grandeur of Hindu Civilisation. We had been reduced to slumdogs and snake charmers. We should want the world to know our Ramayana, understand our Itihas and discover the civilisation behind it. We cannot keep demanding cultural recognition globally while ridiculing every serious attempt to achieve it. #Ramayana
