I’ve noticed trying to PC-ify stuff just makes more fuel for the bully cannons. Like “‘special’ ed” is clearly meant to soften the blow of being meant for disabled kids, but you can’t tell me your classmate calling you a “sped” doesn’t sound much more personal than “retard”
