イスラーム学者、シェイフ・アブドゥッラフマーン・アル＝バッラック師 رحمه الله は、ハロウィンを祝うことの حكم（イスラーム法上の判断）について質問され、次のように答えています。
「それがイスラーム以前の無知の時代に由来する異教的な慣習である以上、ムスリムが非ムスリムの祝祭や好ましくない慣習に倣うことは許されません。」
さらに、師は次のように述べています。
「アッラーは、信仰とイスラーム、そしてアッラーの宗教に従うことによって、ムスリムに栄誉をお与えになりました。」

Shaykh Abd al-Rahman al-Barrak was asked about the Islamic ruling on celebrating Halloween.
He answered:
"Since it is a pagan custom from the age of ignorance, it is not permissible for a Muslim to follow non-Muslims in their festivals and objectionable customs."
"Allah has honoured the Muslim through faith, Islam, and following the religion of Allah."
He then explicitly concluded that celebrating Halloween is ḥarām (prohibited).

❗Update on the Ebetsu mosque arson case in Hokkaido, Japan.❗
On October 29, the Sapporo District Court sentenced 37-year-old Ryotaro Ishii to 6 years and 6 months in prison for setting fire to Ebetsu Masjid and targeting offices belonging to Pakistani-owned businesses.
At his trial, Ishii admitted developing hostility towards the local Pakistani community through videos he watched online.
He told the court:
“I thought that if I destroyed their religious symbol, they would leave Japan.”
“I watched too many strange videos.”
The mosque and one business office were completely destroyed in separate attacks in February. A third arson attempt failed when the fire went out on its own.
Prosecutors initially sought a 9-year sentence, later reducing their request to 8 years after Ishii made a donation following his first hearing.
His own testimony is a reminder of how hostility cultivated through online content can develop into real-world violence. Criticism of a community does not justify collectively targeting its members or their places of worship.

【日本人への侮辱とムスリムのあるべき姿勢】

最近、SNS上で日本人とフランス人の間に激しい対立が起き、一部のムスリムまでが広島・長崎への原爆投下を嘲笑する投稿に加わっています。
この動画の話者は、そうした行為を強く批判しています。
日本人全員がイスラームを嫌っているわけではありません。日本にはムスリムもいれば、パレスチナを支援する人々、イスラームに対して中立的な人々もいます。
一部の人々の侮辱的な発言を理由に、日本人全体を攻撃してよいはずがありません。
広島・長崎の悲劇を嘲笑することは、イスラームを嫌う人々だけでなく、イスラームに理解を示す日本人や日本人ムスリムをも傷つける行為です。
話者は、SNSのアルゴリズムによって、一部の過激な発言が拡散され、まるで日本人全体の意見であるかのように見えてしまう危険性も指摘しています。

Recently, intense hostility has developed online between Japanese and French users, and some Muslims have even participated in posts mocking the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The speaker in this video strongly criticises such behaviour.
Not all Japanese people dislike Islam. Japan has Muslims, people who support Palestine, and others who are neutral towards Islam.
The insulting statements of some individuals cannot justify attacking an entire nationality.
Mocking the tragedies of Hiroshima and Nagasaki harms not only those who oppose Islam, but also Japanese people who are sympathetic towards Islam and Japanese Muslims themselves.
The speaker also warns that social-media algorithms amplify extreme statements, creating the false impression that they represent the opinions of an entire population.
He then tells Muslims:
"You win these battles through wisdom, through goodness, through winning the other side over."
Responding to insults with more insults only perpetuates hatred.
Instead, Muslims should engage sincerely with people willing to have genuine conversations and advise fellow Muslims when their conduct misrepresents Islam.
