This happens in smaller discussions too where there are many posts reiterating the entire point of a scene/movie/character with captions like “I can’t be the only one who noticed this” And it’s the whole point of the scene 😭 it’s mostly harmless but a pet peeve of mine.

At some point the genre of "video essay" shifted from "interesting 30-minute video I can watch on my lunch break" to "some guy retelling the plot of an entire show for 8 hours".

Happens a lot in regards to Peter’s suicidal behavior in BND. Lots of posts basically acting like it was an accident they portrayed him as suicidal and not the entire purpose of those scenes lol. “I think he really thought about killing himself there” Yes that’s the point 😭

Also perhaps a sign in general trending toward some declining literacy rates? A lot of repeating the stuff verbatim and less exploring themes and things left unsaid / meant to ponder on.

forever grateful that my pain was well managed after getting a surgery notorious for having an extremely painful recovery. A lot of people said it was worse than childbirth, kidney stones, and all kinds of things🥲thank god my nerve block lasted way longer than it was supposed to

technically the nerve block was only supposed to work like 18 hours but lasted darn near 2 days for me lol. probably got through the worst of it totally numb.
