Today I learned my students had never heard of Martin Scorsese. But what really got me was finding out that not a single one of them had ever seen Goodfellas.
A big thank you to @PittStateAlumni @Admire_OnAir for speaking to my Intro to Audio/Video class and sharing his experience and knowledge with my students!

My son Remy wrapped up his fall season with the Iguanas in Joplin this afternoon! I finally dusted off my old Canon and got some photos of him in action. He’s already looking forward to winter workouts and the spring season! ⚽️

I showed my students a Nike ad this morning and talked about the Killers song featured in it. Not a single student knew who The Killers were. I think I just aged 20 years in one class.

Merrill College students know their rights as journalists.
"Cat Murphy is a master's student at the University of Maryland, credentialed as a reporter for our Capital News Service and doing the job we teach our students to do. Cat recorded openly in a public space alongside other news outlets, and that is her legal right," Dean Rafael Lorente (@DeanLorente) said. "I'm proud of how she handled herself in a difficult situation."

How about the real hero of this Andy Harris story: Cat Murphy?
This is who every father wants their daughter to aspire to.
A young journalist holding a nearly shouting United States congressman, pointing in her face, hovering over, all because she did her job?
Hero.

Rep. Andy Harris confronted a Capital News Service reporter during a press conference following a candidate forum in Cambridge.
Harris, who invited reporters to ask questions after the forum, took issue with multiple reporters and asked police officers to escort the Capital News Service reporter out of the venue.

I was in junior high when this came out. This album is still one of my favorites. Thank you to @tmorello for his talents.
Looking back at Homecoming 1996 at Pitt State, featuring a young Brian Moorman and @OleQB0814. Great video from Jay Radzavich.
Some of my drone footage made the cut.
