I need your help: Is fusion in a degen spondy more likely to recommend or less likely when the facets are oriented asymmetrically? (to "know" the orientation of the facet joints without 3D imaging is more a guessing in the degen spine) To "understand" the biomechanics and the center of rotation in the degen spine is pretty hard: where is the center of rotation located in a asymmetric facet orientation? I just don't know and I am also looking for reliable intraoperative "stability test". Who knows the best test so far?

From open to MIS. The standard in TL fracture management has changed. The majority is treated minimal invasive, but in case of the necessity to openly decompress, do you also try to reduce the fracture by pushing the fragment anteriorly like our teachers (or our teachers' teachers) have recommended? Drawing is from the early 2000s and I think hardly 1% of us has ever done it... 99% will only take down what's posteriorly of the thecal sac. Any thoughts?
