#ONEPIECE1198 This is what Oda was waiting for with Usopp. This is what his big moment is meant to be. He will play a massive role in getting Luffy to recognize his friends and to possibly come back to his senses in enough time for Chopper and Robin to play their role. Maybe the tool left behind is something that stabilizes this power so that Luffy can control it. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if Sanji and Zoro briefly have to team up against Luffy because he's not recognizing them as friend maybe, and it's a major part of why Oda needed them to power up significantly. It wasn't for Sommers or Killingham, but for Luffy. Usopp will be forced to step in and get involved, using his skillset with observation haki to fire at and somehow distract Luffy to get his attention from a gigantic distance, and maybe that's how Usopp finally has his big Elbaph moment. He will be the person that helped stop Nika, the Sun God's, rampage. God Usopp will go down in history as the person who defeated Nika the Destroyer aka the Sun God. Legendary Brave Warrior of the Sea that defeated Nika, saved Elbaph and helped get Nerona Imu to leave Elbaph.
