How do I explain to my wife that I'm excited when I see the Sydney Sweeney ads for Novig... Not because of Sydney Sweeney, but because I invested in the seed round?

This is kind of hilarious because Shaun says, “Hey I think one of the biggest companies on the planet will grow its revenue more than 50x over the next THREE YEARS” and all of the replies are like, “Whoa whoa whoa you didn’t account for the taxes properly.”
Over the last week I built a bottoms up SpaceX financial model through the end of 2028 The numbers that came out are insane There are wide error bars given how quickly things are changing but I wanted to distill something complicated into something that can at least be debated * This is not investment advice!!! ** Sequoia is a major SpaceX shareholder *** Past performance is not indicative of future results

It seems like you can call either holding or pass interference on about 50% of the plays in college football and it’s just a matter of what angle the refs have and how they’re feeling in the moment

Commie propaganda
Large candy bars are the considered the holy grail, but giving them out on Halloween missed the point of the holiday, @ibogost argued in 2017: theatln.tc/0pZou0zj

Overheard at Gauntlet AI: “Before Gauntlet I was rejected by a recruiter for not having enough SwiftUI experience. I was literally on the team at Apple that got the first demo builds of SwiftUI. It is impossible to have more experience with it than I have.”

My universal advice for non-technical people. Stop handicapping yourself and learn how stuff works.
“Stop thinking of yourself as a non-technical person and become a technical person. The only difference is spending the time to figure out how things work.” @Austen at AI Startup Rodeo by @PlebLab

I don't see how AI doesn't cause armageddon for most informational advertising-supported products. I don't need to go to your site or app anymore. AI will extract it and give me exactly the piece that I need.

Another Grok Bot template: Buying Signal Radar. Finds public X posts from people asking for what you sell, complaining about a competitor, etc. Can just point them out or draft a helpful reply in your voice, but never posts, likes, follows, or DMs anyone without you. x.ai/bot/oo5mMd9J63Hv7K6ggIs…

If this is what Proton employees are revolting against they’re not gonna make it. CEO is 100% accurate here.

As a Dutch person let me tell you it's way worse than it seems. The AVERAGE stress related absence is 250+ days. The AVERAGE burnout related absence is 300+ days. While on sick-leave, you can return to work for just 4 weeks and the 2 year period **resets**. Your employer is forced to assist you in this. They have to pay for doctors, experts, and so on. If they don't, you get an extra year's wages. While on sick-leave, you can work a second job. As long as this is outside business hours of the first job, or the work is different, your first employer still pays you 70%. Here's another cool one: you can go on holiday during sick-leave. The employer can force you to use your vacation days for that, but then they have to pay you 100% of your wages rather than 70% during that period. Simple solution: you just work with contractors right? No, because a contractor can just claim employee status after getting sick. Many such cases. All of this is obviously broken. If you say this you're met with half-baked "worker's rights" arguments, as you can see in this comment section.
European hiring rules are genuinely insane. For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years. If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!

Because DoorDash makes it fkn impossible to order through an agent and it pisses me off constantly
DoorDash says they have only received "several hundred orders in total" from personal agents like Muse.

Every time I see a video like this all I can think about is them setting up the camera and lighting then getting into position
Before you decide to have a child first discuss about these moments
