There's just no other game that makes me feel the way Marathon does

Here is my "resume." I was almost Voltaic Masters complete in S4, and hit Seal complete on the viscose benchmarks a year ago. On controller, I played D1 for >3000 hours in Y1 and ran scrims on Bo3. and my consistent 130ms vrt is infinitely far from the 0ms programed into roller.
Love seeing controller players trying to defend controller and probably have never touched Mnk in their life. From someone who has played and maines both inputs. Controller is broken. Over 10 years of experience on both inputs. Can't argue with someone who has experienced both.

Some of the best roller players I know think the rotational AA coefficient needs to be toned down. Period. Heavy rotational AA was added to increase user acquisition and retention. Mechanics are one of the biggest barriers to shooters. Similarly, Bungie magnetism "feels good"...
Pc players will never shut up about aim assist when they can play both inputs. They will plug a roller to get 1 kill and form an opinion that it’s “unfair”. Yet, they go back to mnk cause they know it’s better especially for endgame fights (slide shotguns, invis, etc…).

for both inputs, that Bungie gunplay we love. But until high skill lvl, roller players are psychologically less interested in developing skills than PC players as a consequence of AA. Ex: I don't know a roller player who ladder jumps that isn't also near Jum level of skill. Why?

Nerding out: mouse input lets you dictate your absolute camera position, and by tracking we're simulating a change in angle per time. While on controller, the stick determines this rate of change, and people play as high as sensitivity as is comfortable to emulate PC "flicks"

You can literally super glide btw...
This is a love letter to my favorite game, and Marathon Season 2 pvp. Forgetting the community discourse, I'm excited to finally be back inside Cryo this weekend. I think it'll motivate others to come crawling back and play the refresh... also I love my teammates <3

29:08 Possible you don't even hear us open the door if the team is there and slow enough
Marathon Cryo - Tried our sponsor kits - Team was in our spawn by 28 min - We spawned Steerage - had just gone to our second room, I was activating a monitor and got shot from the right.. so they either came from Cargo or Mid but man.. 28 min? That feels SO fast to be in a second spawn. I don't think the fix is changing to clearance 3 but this also just feels bad. Not even getting to our second room, Our bots had just spawned. Did they get 3 monitors in one room?

I THINK IF YOU LEAVE STEERAGE AT 28 MINUTES YOU DESERVE TO GET SPAWN PUSHED IN REAL LIFE
i am not joking when i say this with full confidence, in cryo if you spawn in steerage you die 50% of the time to a team spawn rushing you precisely at the 28 minute mark

When I was 12 playing Destiny 1 my clan was a bunch of hard working Ohio dads and reformed gang bangers in their late 20's early 30's. I was the trials carry and they were my chosen family.
i was 12 running Destiny raids with 30 yr olds

Trans people want a baseline humanity. When their families and community are supportive, and with access to timely and proper medical intervention, they have similar clinical outcomes as the general population, living normal lives. Poor comms.
