As a fellow Brit, I’m sad to say I agree with you. Poor lane discipline, driving too close, driving too fast in poor conditions. You see it every day, yet people want the 70mph motorway speed limit increased!

It’s bad enough when you’re driving a car and that happens. Even worse when you’re driving a 3.5 tonne delivery van and you then have to guess your way!

I like the idea of cycling, but I’ve never felt safe on 2 wheels.

Looks idyllic. I’ve only ever been to Hamburg and Berlin, but I’d like to see more of Germany some time.

Sadly, cyclists, along with learner drivers and horse riders. seem to bring out the worst in car drivers. I always do my best to give them all space, even if that means I’m held up a bit. Better to be late than put vulnerable road users at risk.

So true. I’ve moved from a desk based professional role to semi retirement. I’m now a part time supermarket delivery driver and really enjoying it. Updating my LinkedIn profile to say so was quite liberating, and the minute I finally stop work completely it will be deleted.

Absolutely! Tall, short, fat, thin….. looks alone don’t define a person.

I love ice cream. Not so sure on this flavour though. My faves are vanilla, rum and raisin, and mint chocolate chip!
