They haven’t ended their power sharing with Reform and the Tories on Scottish Councils.
Labour has ended its power-sharing with Greens in 11 councils after the national party adopted a policy defining Zionism as a form of racism Green co-deputy leader Rachel Millward and Labour MP Rachel Taylor debate the issue on #PoliticsLive bbc.in/4ePeKOr

For a moment, I thought you were talking about Scotland.
I’m fed up with certain politicians saying we need to “respect” the result of the 2016 Brexit referendum. A decision by a narrow majority 10yrs ago that turned out to be a disaster does not have to be respected. If a democracy cannot change its mind it ceases to be a democracy.

Sarwar, 2024: “We will slash extortionate energy bills and create 69,000 new green jobs. Every vote for Scottish Labour is a vote to cut bills, create jobs, end economic turmoil, and deliver a Labour government with Scotland’s voice at its heart.” 2026: nitter.cf/GBPolitcs/status/21147…
🚨NEW: Household energy bills are forecast to surge by 27% to an average of £2,192 a year from January, according to a new forecast by EDF, one of Britain's biggest energy suppliers

The Scottish people have had a conversation about The Independence Referendum which was 12 years ago. What about the promises that were given to Scotland.

He means that England must decide. Not 'together', but imposed. No 'devolution', no equal votes, no national democracy. Do as England instructs.

That's old news. First broadcast in the 1970s.
BREAKING: North Sea oil and gas tax receipts are forecast to collapse to 'close to zero' in just five years' time, with major implications for Scotland’s finances The Office for Budget Responsibility has also said that North Sea output will decline by 10% annually

Why does England control everything. Why can’t Sco, Wales and NI as equal partners do a budget for the UK, and England gets what we decide.
NEW. The £100 energy payment will be paid via council tax system (likely into your bank account) from January 2027 for all in Council Tax Band A to D. England only so far, but other UK nations are getting funding to do it. There is also a £100m available for people who will still struggle regardless of band. #Budget2026

Gas standing charges are not ‘abolished’. That is misleading. They are being transferred to unit charges. People in colder parts of UK will pay more👇 Their shares disparity between colder and warmer areas will increase.

As the local councillor for Maryhill, I was out in my ward this morning responding to damage and disruption caused by the stormy weather. I personally cleared more than 30 drains and reopened three roads to traffic: 📍 Kelvindale Road 📍 Shuskin Drive 📍 Arrochar Road, in front of John Paul Academy I also removed fallen trees and branches from pavements and roads to help keep routes clear for residents. I am also aware of flooding at the end of Maryhill Road, which has made it almost impassable. This has been reported, and I hope it will be addressed as soon as possible. Please take care, check conditions before travelling, and follow official advice throughout the weekend. Stay safe and look out for one another. #Maryhill #CommunitySafety

Too many Scots still think a foreign based broadcaster and political parties sitting in another country discussing what they should do with our resources is normal. It isn’t, it wouldn’t be acceptable anywhere else.
THE SNP have hit out at the BBC ahead of a Question Time show which is due to debate Scottish oil and gas without any Scottish representation on the panel.
