When I was a little kid it took me hours to get into the first dungeon cuz I thought the deku tree was lying to me so that I would walk into his mouth and get eaten by him

I like how basically everyone, no matter if they’re friends with him or not, have in some way or form been changed or affected by Sonic.

Some people really need to understand Sonic is a force of nature and almost fairy-like figure. He is the catalyst for change, he himself doesn’t necessarily grow but he effects those around him. He’s not supposed to be directly relatable. You have others for that. He’s just sonic

Whenever people do the “Steve represents what America was, John what it is, and sam what it can be” I get super irritated because point to one moment in American history where the US actually embodied Steve’s ideals… Steve is what America *thinks it is* that’s the whole point

I think that's one of the reasons why Sonic trying to make jokes doesn't really work with his character; it's his awkward sincerity (if that's the right term) that makes him funny

practice positivity. gas yourself up. there are infinite chances to succeed. being negative is a dead end. think of the positive outcomes everyday, write them down. there’s always a brighter side. happiness is choosing to acknowledge the wonderful things that are there already.

So many "fans" believe that sonic should be relatable and changing.
They fail to realize that Sonic being a static character is the main reason why his character is perfect and works. It's not to say he's perfect but Sonic isn't someone who conforms & changes.
