I’ve seen a lot of back-and-forth discussions lately about the use of AI in content creation, so I wanted to share my perspective. I’ve been a Content Creator for over six years, and throughout that time, I’ve created my own thumbnails, videos, overlays, graphics, and overall content. The only thing I’ve ever really paid someone else to create for me was my emotes. Everything else has been my work. That said, I do use AI to an extent. I use it to help analyze my pages, organize and schedule content, and occasionally assist with things like SEO. The actual posts, research, ideas, and creative direction still come from me. My overlays are still created by me. I may design a thumbnail myself and then use AI to help make it stand out a little more. I may also write a description and use AI to help format it or strengthen it for SEO. Where I personally draw the line is with what I would call “AI slop”—content where very little, if anything, comes from the actual creator. I believe your own personality, creativity, experience, and personal touch are what make content unique. So yes, I believe AI is perfectly fine when it’s used as a tool rather than a replacement for the creator. Technology is constantly evolving, and content creation is no different. If we refuse to adapt and learn how to use new tools responsibly, we risk being left behind. The key, in my opinion, is making sure you are still the creator—not the AI. #MyTwoCents
