I spent the last few days refreshing the grey palette for @photoroom_app design system (less shades, new colors, etc.) Creating a good set of greys can be tricky but I made it simple! If you’re interested let’s deep dive into how I generate all these with simple code. 🧵

Went to watch Project Hail Mary last night. The couple next to me (in their 30s) had bought a large bucket of popcorn. When I turn toward them, I realized they were both eating their popcorn with tablespoons! Not for fun, not jokingly… no, just casually eating with spoons 😂
Decided to update the animation style of hundreds of component but realized that Figma has no bulk editing for interactions... so I wrote a Figma plugin ✨
Growing up in the South West of France, I’ve watched rugby for 35 years (before they were pros) and the brand of rugby the French team is playing right now is the best I’ve ever seen (respect to previous great teams though). I feel very appreciative of this moment 🙏

A while ago I posted about creating a dynamic letter spacing based on "Font size", well this time we add another dimension: "Font weight". Yup, to keep the same "vibe" we need to apply these two adjustments.

No idea who cares about this but @Apple checked my bucket list regarding iOS 26 “Lists” design:
- taller rows (52 pt)
- separators padded on the right
- separators in pt (1 pt) rather than physical pixels
- lowercase nested titles

Big day for Photoroom! We’re announcing our first acquisition: Generatebanners, a powerful technology to scale image production with text. It’s our first M&A, but surely not the last one.
We’re also launching a new product: Visual Ads Automation—a tool to generate creatives from a single template into millions of combinations leveraging generatebanners tech. In the future, creatives will be tailored to each user, scene, price, and locale. Our product makes that possible at scale.
