1/🚀 #IMS2026: Can a CELMoD deepen and sustain responses to a BCMA bispecific in RRMM?
Dr. Ja Min Byun presented updated Part 1 results from MELT-MM, evaluating mezigdomide + elranatamab. The early efficacy signal is striking—but needs context. 🧵 #mmsm
MELT-MM enrolled patients with RRMM after ≥2 prior lines. The efficacy-evaluable cohort included 13 patients treated with:
• Mezigdomide 0.3 mg: n=7
• Mezigdomide 0.6 mg: n=6
Median follow-up: 13.7 months.

#IMS26 #mmsm Oral- % of functional cure with the use of Tec-Dara @Myeloma_Society
Estimated functional cure of 87% with Tec-Dara showing excellent promise of such therapy.
➡️Future will need time limited therapy (Stop and see what will happen)
➡️Assess cumulative toxicity with longer use of this therapy (infections most imp)- Non relapse mortality will be imp
Future is bright in myeloma

#IMS26 Plenary presentation for CERVINO demonstrates clear superiority of TCEs over SOC!
👏👏@PlasmaCellPete @myelomaMD et al.
12-mo PFS of 62.1% with Etentamig vs. 28.4% with control (Kd, SVd, EloPd)
OS showing encouraging trend as well!
Surely no more non TCE control arms in this setting going forward!
What’s different with Etentamig vs. other BCMA bispecifics:
Etentamig with its silenced fc tail offers longer administration intervals and lower CRS rates from lower CD3-binding affinity
Prophylactic toci is the way to go! Key for community uptake
You are with the boss, I am sure you will have fun learning !!!

First RCT results of Etentamig (BCMA bispecifc antibody) presented at Plenary Session #IMS26 @Myeloma_Society @PlasmaCellPete
@myelomaMD
60 mg fixed dose every 4 weeks makes this the easiest bispecific to administer.
Impressive PFS benefit in relapsed refractory myeloma with at least 2 prior lines of therapy. See thread for more details.

💡Encouraging depth, but only 1-yr data so far
