I am excited to share our latest preprint, in which we demonstrate that systemic hypoxia suppresses solid tumor growth.
This has been a tremendous collaborative effort in the labs of @IshaHJain and @Genophoria at @GladstoneInst, @ArcInstitute, and @UCSF.

Yesterday I shared @ishahjain's work on *low* oxygen. Today, she, @baik_alan & @kirsten_chenx have a paper in @MolecularCell on why *high* oxygen is harmful. Her @GladstoneInst @UCSF team discovered that too much O2 "rusts" proteins w/ sulfur & oxygen.
