Christos Tzolis is now involved in full firs team training, and is expected to be fit for the trip to Anfield, #AFC are expected to start with Madueke, Eze and Viktor Gyokeres, Tzolis is likely to be on the bench.
Discussions around the CF starting are complicated.

Gyokeres is the way forward until we get to bring in someone else.
A striker who has had limited opportunities has still managed to score 21 goals. In contrast, the player who has been given more consistent chances has yet to match that goal tally.
If the manager is deciding who to prioritise, it makes sense to favour the player who has already proven himself. Last season he stayed fit, contributed heavily, and played a key role in Arsenal winning the league.
The player currently receiving more minutes has so far offered limited end product in terms of goals or assists. When you compare the sample sizes and output of both players, the numbers favour the one who has been more efficient despite fewer chances.
If Arteta were to back Gyokeres in the same way he previously backed Havertz, it is reasonable to expect his goal tally to rise further’ potentially from 21 towards 30.
Havertz’s time in the role did not ultimately deliver the consistent attacking returns the team needed despite all the love and favoritism he got from the manager.

There is a reason we were in all competitions last season before No. 29 got fit.
I won’t say more than this…

Kai Havertz, with one of the most disgraceful individual performances I have ever seen. Hall of shame on every level. He looked below this level let alone at it. Horrible performance, watching teenagers show more personality. I’m actually furious

To the Arsenal fans still measuring our progress through the eyes of rivals:
Yesterday’s Ballon d’Or was a quiet but significant milestone. Arsenal were nominated for Club of the Year, Mikel Arteta for Coach of the Year, and David Raya for the Yashin Trophy. Bukayo Saka also received recognition for his off-pitch contributions.
For context, the last time we came this close to major individual or collective recognition at this level was the Invincibles season, more than twenty years ago.
Growth is rarely linear, and recognition doesn’t always arrive on the timeline we want.
We can and should demand more. But that doesn’t mean we can’t acknowledge how far this group has come. The process has been real: the rebuild, the consistency, the identity, and the standards that now exist.
Every club’s path is different. We don’t need validation from rival fans whose journeys, struggles, and successes look nothing like ours. Comparing timelines only distracts from the work still ahead.
Yesterday was a moment to appreciate the progress. The foundations are there. The belief is real. What comes next is what matters most.
