Any Nigerian without a COS or hope of staying should just apply as one Reason: They can’t go back home because of the killings in the north by Islamic extremist and jihadist. Simple 👌

Since 2022, I have helped repatriate the remains of over 15 Nigerians back to Nigeria. It’s never an easy experience for anyone involved, but I believe every family deserves the chance to bring their loved ones home and give them a dignified farewell. May God comfort every grieving family, and may our departed loved ones rest in perfect peace. 🕊️🙏

If an immigrant dies in the UK, they should be buried in the UK. I don’t understand why people struggle to raise thousands of pounds through GoFundMe just to take a corpse back home. They should bury the person where they died. What do you think?

As a mum, would you say giving birth is the easiest part of motherhood or the hardest?

Before companies give you a loan here in the UK, they want to see that you have a job and a stable income. They also run a hard credit check. If you have a history of not paying back loans, you’re unlikely to get approved.

Imagine raising a child in London and constantly hearing about teenagers as young as 16 getting involved in gangs, stabbings and murder. Parents raising children in London, how do you cope with these worries?

Yesterday, a company reached out to me looking for about three care staff members, with sponsorship opportunities available. However, I was told that they specifically did not want Nigerians. Honestly, that didn’t sit well with me. While we may not know the full story behind their decision, I believe it is worth reflecting on why such a perception exists and asking ourselves some difficult but necessary questions. Our actions, whether good or bad, do not affect only us as individuals. They can influence how others perceive an entire community and potentially open or close doors for fellow Nigerians who are also seeking opportunities to build a better future. We must remember that wherever we go, we carry more than just our names; we carry the image of our country. The way we conduct ourselves, the standards we uphold, and the integrity we demonstrate can shape the opportunities available to those who come after us. This is not about blaming or generalising against anyone. Let us be mindful that our actions today may determine the opportunities available to another Nigerian tomorrow. 🇳🇬

Something I have always wondered about the UK property market. People are buying houses every day, but not many new houses are being built. Where are all these houses coming from? And what happens to the people selling them? Are they moving abroad or going back to renting?
