I dug deeper into the dev behind $SPRING and TickerSpring. The profile actually looks pretty clean, and the project is worth paying attention to. Dev @Polypup isn’t some new account that showed up just to launch a token. He’s been building DeFi since around 2021 with PolyPup Finance on Polygon. His previous projects had real smart contracts, GitHub activity, and were audited by Paladin. Some issues were found during the audits, and the dev fixed them. Now he’s building TickerSpring on Robinhood Chain. TickerSpring is focused on DeFi for tokenized stocks. Users can deposit USDG into stock vaults like NVDA, AAPL, AMD, TSLA, META, PLTR, etc. to provide liquidity and earn trading fees. And this isn’t just a website. They’ve already deployed multiple vault contracts, lending is live, and they’re developing delta-neutral strategies and other DeFi products. What I like most about $SPRING is that the token is actually tied to the protocol: 20% of protocol fees are reserved to buy back and burn $SPRING. Experienced dev + years of building + real product + real contracts + a DeFi/stock narrative that fits Robinhood perfectly right now. The main weakness is that adoption is still very early and TVL isn’t large yet. So this is still a bet on whether TickerSpring can attract real users. But purely based on the quality of the dev and what he’s building, I think $SPRING is currently undervalued by the market.
